Just curious if anyone had or has had any issues with rub? I know on my Honda Element I used Tein Coilovers but still had rub issues. My rear fenders needed to be cut out but I see on C5 there is no issue for that since the wheels would go up in the wheel well without rub. Just curious anyone had any problems. I agree that closing the wheel gap looks so much better and the stance becomes aggressive!

It really depends on how flexible you want the coilovers to be. Basic coilover kits that allow you to raise and lower the car are around 1200 for the KW V1 (basic coilovers) , the KW V3 (very nice coilovers) that has tons of options to maximize your suspension run around $1800-2500 depending on the brand.

You only have to take your wheel off.

You don't have to remove anything with the Pedders suspension. There are adjustment knobs on the top of the strut towers for the front and you just have to crawl underneath the car and adjust the knobs near the bottom of the coilovers on the rear.

The same on the BC Racing for adjusting hardness and softness.
But if you want to adjust the height you have to take the wheel off.

BC $1050

Pedders $1400+

I thought springs with only a one inch drop would work for me. Pedders doesn't recommend cutting the bump stops ( I asked ). I didn't realize how easy they would bottom. Going to coil overs you can lower and still retain the stock travel, so it shouldn't bottom out.....

Exactly why I got the coilovers. I don't like harsh ride quality from lack of travel and I don't like the idea of cutting the bumpstops. I still have yet to install mine.

You are correct sir, I did not see the adjusting the "ride height" part of the question.

I have the Eibach 1" springs and am running CCW 20x10's up front w/275/40/20's and 20x11.5's in the rear w/305/35/20's and have not cut the bumpstops.I have not yet experienced any bottoming out issues althouigh it does ride a little stiffer.I have the money on hand to install coilovers but do not see the need.....think i will spend this money on LT's,Hi-Flo cats and full exhaust. Just my .02
