Hi Mike,

One question that comes up a lot with the Bosch PCM V6 Camaro...if we use/load your tune and then reset back to factory tune, using your device, can the dealer see the car was tuned and then reversed? i.e can they see a counter on the PCM and then look to tell you that your car is now out of warranty? Big concern for some who want the added performance but do not want to blow out their warranty from GM.

thanks
J

do you have anything to support that claim for the Bosch E69 ECM? My understanding is that may be true for the ECM in the SS but not the V6 which uses a very difference ECM...

if using the diablo Predator or Trinity, if you "restore original backup" to your car, there is no trace left of anything being done/changed to your ecm... they can not tell or see anything...

In short, no they can't. This comes from my tech, at the dealership, who does all the work on my car. Currently they have no way to tell on Bosch E69 if a tune was ever added. Not at the dealership anyway.

They can't even pull history of codes if you reset them.

BTW, if I knew how to edit quicktime, or compress, I'd post a JBA shortied, FLowmaster exited run to 155mph on a dyno, lol.
