I understand that you didnt want the pictures out but look at the head start your getting from this forum and prob all the hits on your website without any money put into it yet. it will just make people even more engaged when you release actual photos without the camo and all the cool new things that you say are on it

The cover “Jinn” shows a “Gollum looking character like Sméagol from the Lord of the Ring. And what I’m trying to picture is what part does this FireBreather has. Is it about the car, the character, both or it’s a surprise? I just finished biting all my finger nails and now I'm moving towards my toes..

Well as mentioned before, the word Jinn translated means Genie. So the possibilities are rather endless.

Or maybe it's a modern version of Alladin and they pimped his carpet into a "firebreather"

I have it from a good source that the movie is "Driving Miss Daisy 2: Life in the Fast Lane".

No offence to anyone but this smells of low budget.

This whole thing is pretty fishy....

Sounds like you're trying to do a little viral marketing.

In all seriousness, good luck with the movie. The Camaro is an awesome car and it's no surprise that it's chosen for movies of all types.

Considering that there are rumors of the Camaro to be in Ghost Rider 2, Firebreather would be a good name for the car to star in such a movie.

I still say something is fishy. If your marketing campaign only started 1 week early, your website should have pretty much been done, and like has been said before, what professional movie companies register a domain name with GODADDY? If this is your marketing budget, I expect that "D'jinn" is gonna be a straight to DVD movie?

Here's my take:

Being the car guy that you are, you know people are going batshit crazy for any Z/28 news. You get someone to get some "spy photos" of a mysteriously camo-ed car and put them out on Chevy sites. Other Auto sites pick up on the story of a possible Z/28 test mule, and all of a sudden, you have more free advertising than you could have ever possibly been able to afford.

Once again, I could be wrong, but the internet has made me skeptical of everything.

And I haven't driven my Camaro since Oct 30th, so I am going through severe withdrawl and am super grumpy :(

I agree, it was fun....It will be funny to me too that the Z28 mule will be in an SS body and is being driven around riiiight now and we dont even know it. lol. Ha!

+1000

....and why is it that if dude is a "troll" or an "enthousiast" he hadn't registered waaaay before this.

I'm saying, looks way too much like the concept Firebird....

..why the hell "Firebreather?"...sounds too close to Firebird if you ask me.

Whole deal is crackers.

No, it doesn't mean anything at all.

LOL. What's wrong with Godaddy? I guess hollywood people shouldnt visit Walmart either? Give me a break, Godaddy can register and host domains as well if not better than anyone else. Geesh.

And so what if he tapped into some viral marketing and created a buzz? It is working isn't it? Of course people want to create a stir without blowing money they dont have to. It is genius if you ask me.

regardless of where the site is hosted (i use godaddy myself) I'd either remove the current site or have someone rebuild it asap... it screams amateur with blinking lights and whistles. Certainly could have found someone on criagslist to make you a quick landing page that would look far more professional for probably less money than you spent on the vinyl used to camo the front end of the Camaro.

Dude, don't use GoDaddy. They are easily the slimiest of web hosts/registrars out there.
