Great! I think a well balanced turbo car in these 5th gens is the way to go and even if I got a good jump on you, it would still be a good, door to door race.

That's a great run and mph with 545rwhp! Wait, come to think of it, I remember you know from the turbo thread, I should of known that was your SILVER 5th gen.

speaking of extra funds, we stopped in Jacksonville on the way back home to get gas and bought two 5.00 scratch off lottery tickets and won 105.00!! paid for gas and food, can't beat that.!

He was next to last and we were last, so by the time we were on the road there were so many people pulled over and standing outside of their cars, standing in driveways, standing outside of businesses, and waving and yelling as everyone roared by. It was very surreal! It was my favorite because I was able to have a once in a lifetime experience for myself and also as a parent be able to share it with my son. I am very thankful that Justin found such an awesome second family in Camaro 5 and even more thankful that he has been gracious enough to allow his parents to join in and be a part of such an amazing group!!!
Now that is pretty darn cool.

You should be very proud of your son. I was very impressed with him. He was a huge help throughout the weekend.

The entire fest was awesome, but I did have fun on the track......plus it's very very mildly modded.
Fastest time was 13.07 @ 110

woo hoo, better than some of the boosted monsters I saw!

Oh, and mine's an automatic! Lol

The entire fest was great. I'll never forget the Friday night cruise. That was an awesome experience being able to be part of cruising with all of the other camaro5 members.

My favorite moment was when I completed my first 1/4 mile pass and recieved the time slip to read 13.70s @ 102.88 mph! It is far from the fastest car on the track but I met one of my C5Fest goals of driving the car over 100mph. I almost met that goal on the I-75 entrance ramp in Ocala, Fl. Whoever was leading the pack had the hammer down!

OMG, I forgot all about that one. Mark already reminded me of my "rabbit" comment.

It was great to spend time with everyone and I know I HAVE to make it to the Oklahoma meets now to see you all again. I had such a blast getting to know everyone!

For me, I had too many great moments to list one favorite, but here are some of them: Meeting people that I know will probably become life long friends, the feeling of awe during the cruise and seeing Camaros as far as you could see in both directions, watching the faces of people (especially children) light up when they saw the cars pass by them either on the highway or during the cruise, seeing the proud faces of guys that had just run the drag strip for the first time (Mark, Kevin, Rick), getting silly in the parking lot with Bonnie and all my buddies from Oklahoma, meeting Scott Settlemire, having him sign my car and GETTING HUGGED BY HIM, trying cherry wine for the first time (Thanks again Kyle- you are a real cutie and sweetheart), and seeing all the wonderful ways people have modified their cars and made this slice of history their very own!

Above everything else though, was meeting and spending time with some truly amazing people, and the memories that will be with me for the rest of my life.
