Mike at haddad did my L99, it's at 8lbs boost with long tubes. He had S & D setup differently so that S has quicker shifts. I haven't run 1/4 mile yet, but it gets to 60 MPH in 3.8 seconds as my best run so far, haven't tried a 0-60 run in a while. With stock tires, traction is an issue. I always drive with TC off so timing is not pulled. I leave stabilitrack on for safety but it has never kicked in, I don't let it get too sideways and the car tracks fairly well after the rear end kicks out a little bit at first after losing traction but then it straightens up. I have about 3K miles on it since the mods and zero issues.

1/4 depends on a lot of things from how well you drive, DA, track surface ect. Take a look at the official track times and look at the mods for a feel.
Traction control on mine after the work is kida like hitting the rev limiter, when you break loose it will pull power. With it off you can about spin as much as you want, depending on your tires and road surface, you really have to drive it.
Mine is M6 so I cant help you on the Auto tranny side.

500 at the wheels, only had 800 miles on it at the time car is running great with 4000 miles on it now, probably a little stronger since it's more broken in now.

The only L99 car that we've done we put a ProCharger D-1SC with Kooks Long Tubes, High Flow Cats, and Magnaflow Catback. That car at 8lbs made 524rwhp and 518rwtq. Majority of the Gen5's that we've done have been M6 LS3 cars.

oxnard ? I live in corona too far. 8lbs, kooks headers+exhaust and rotofab CAI, custom tune. Why do you want to dyno my car ? Not believing 500 HP ? Pretty much in line with other cars with same mods.

I ran the numbers and I guess will all the other mods it can do it. I more than anything want to see how my dyno stacks up. We are a bonded dyno and must calibrate every 30 days to keep the certificate. We are also the Mustang Dynamometer dyno rep for So Cal. All too often we dyno a car at 440 and the customer says it can't be because they just made 500 at XYZ dyno. I look like the bad guy because the other dyno guy fudged his numbers

like the dragon guy that claimed a 250hp increase at 5psi with no intercooler. It can't be done. 320 RWHP can't turn into 570 at 5 psi RWHP - Sorry

This is no reflection at any one person - But as we release our Twin Turbo kit for the 2010 Camaro - i want to compare real numbers. We are will to sell a few of the first kits at a small discount to get them in teh hands of others - we know word of mouth will travel faster then any advert or article

Magnuson TSV2300 vs Edelbrock E-Force

Hello,

Thank you all again !! More questions of course.

It seems the Magnuson TVS2300 is the most popular and the Edelbrock E-Force is too new for popularity at this point. What are the major differences between the two?

I was reading in the forum that the Edelbrock E-Force starts to build back pressure in its self after 5000 RPMs which would lead me to believe there is no more potential than what it is. That being said, it seems the maggie has more boost potential into the motor, but would be irrelivant for my goals. However you know that people always wany more and more HP.

The Maggie has a jack shaft, right? That is the side shaft the goes to the belt in the back, right?? The Edelbrock E-Force does not. Are there problems with jack shafts ?

Also I read the Edelbrock E-Force has a boost bypass valve to keep the pressure low during normal driving. I guess that would be like a kind of waste gate. They say it's better for fuel milage. Is it? And is it better for logevity?

Does the Maggie have a boost bypass ?? or is it pressure all the time ?

Whats the fuel milage on the maggie (6psi) and the Edelbrock E-Force (6psi)??

What about the stock torque converter? Can it handle it ??

Thank you.

If I remember correctly that car made 335 stock. I'd have to confirm on Monday. We have a DynoCom dyno.
