I don't think you can still get the 3 year powertrain warranty with headers on your car.

Ok.... that was a lot of good information and kinda mind frying as someone else stated. What kind of SC would be a good option if I am not looking to do much more than bolt it on. I am not looking into cams or anything so I want to stay around 7psi to keep the engine running safely so... Where does that leave me? Seems to be a lot of good knowledge on flowing right now so... Thanks in advance for the help.

Simple bolt on 7psi with a Magnuson is 430hp. Twin turbo - 520 at 7psi and a ton of low end torque

Centrifugal - 430 as well but les torque then both above

They all make the car way better then stock.

What is the budget?

The price thing is what is killing me. I see all these for SC's for 7-10K. I dont really want, well the wife doesnt want me to, spend that much. But then looking at one of your other posts I saw "Yes I agree below 3k a Maggie is KING." and I wonder if this 3k is price or what? I cant seem to find anything for that price so... I am confused.

I believe he's talking about 3,000 RPM. No one is selling new supercharger kits for 3,000 dollars.

So, $7K for 50 RWHP (380 RWHP) currently? Just not worth it...IMHO
I'm even questioning the 500 RWHP for the $7K. If they didn't destroy my warranty on everything, maybe...I'll just keep working on the suspension and then when she's 3-4 years old, put a SC in her.

My car went from 352 to 440hp at 6.5 psi from the Magnuson - so more then 50hp - But I hear ya - they aint cheap

I know - my car is currently at 381 RWHP, so, to me that's not really worth it. Plus, I already have too many mods that a warranty isn't viable. A future mod, maybe Thanks!

OK I hear ya but with the other mods you have your gain should be exponential so 380 should turn into 485 at 6.5 psi - plus my gains are on 89 octane - if you had 93 you would be even better becuase you could add more timing

Food for thought

Or just put on our new twin turbo and be done with it

p1sc1 by ATI procharger rocks

I just installed a Procharger on my 2SSRS and a axel back from slp. After we tuned the car a little better it produced 522RWHP with 459 RWTQ. It feels like a completely different car.

The boost is just peaking at 7psi at 5600rpm.

Well then those are great numbers - I wonder if it would repeat. At 7psi your application appears to be making 38hp more than a Vortech and 38 ft/lbs more. Weird how that worked out. Still good job - soon we will have numbers on our TT system at 6, 8 and 10 psi. - (i hope) Not sure if stock motr can handle 10psi.

Perfect - what I meant by repeat was heat soak - great numbers - my Mag at 440 and 7psi seems light but my torque numbers are still stout at 465.

lmao! opps! yeah we did 2 pulls following the final run on that sheet. But they only printed the first 3 pulls. Hp did fall off a bit but Tq stayed consistant through heat soak. 509 RWHP 458 RWTQ is where it was on the final pull.

Still awsome numbers - I remember when my first 1982 Cross Fire Camaro made 160hp and i thought i had the fastest car in school - dyno'd at 102hp and 98ft/lbs to the tires

I still managed to shread a set of tire in 8,000 miles

I just got the dyno numbers for the Maggie install with the ADM Street Cold Air Intake that ADM Performance did today on my car.. Impressive numbers that came out of that shop.. Thanks Andy and Pat. You guys Rock..

I dropped it off Sunday evening and it was ready by 4:30 PM on Monday.. That is Service..

408 stock? Wow! that is 70hp higher than any car we have ever dyno'd here with no mods

This will always be a debate of which one is better between gear heads.

My two cents is this

Why add more paricitic drag to the engine by driving a supercharger off of the crankshaft when you can use the exhaust waste to drive a turbocharger?The whole purpose to adding pressure to the intake is the addition of power and torque so why give up any to run a charger when you can charge the intake without the loss of any power?
