Here is mine so far. I used Krylon Paint for Plastic. I used the "hammered" style; I like the look. Pics dont really show the detail though. The car is CGM with black interior and Silver Rally Stripes, so this combination goes well with it. The red Chevy Bowties are raised vinyl.

You are welcome , that is something easy to do...

I went out and took off my 304HP decals this afternoon and ordered a set of 312Hp ones...

Made my own underhood bowtie from a piece of felt from Hobby Lobby and some lettering from Ebay. The material almost feels just like the pad.
I checked to be sure that there wasnt too much heat for it. The underhood pad isnt really very warm after a long drive.
I will still get a nicer one when finances permit, but this will pass for now.

Great idea! I used construction cardboard for mine and painted it Ralley yellow, so far so good. The graphic is from edecal.com.

This kind of has to do with this, well I like the look of the V8 engine cover and I want to get one for my v6, the v8 will be getting taken out if it fits so I wont be posing or nothing (hate that), but just wondering if it will fit or if anybody even knows??

That's what I get for posting the email when I can't look at the cover - a truly blonde moment - sorry!

Not Bad For A Girl

Thanks to all the ideas I found on this thread, did my own this weekend. Not perfect, but good enough for me. My first "mod" - I'm pretty proud of myself!

It looks great! It feels good to know you did all the work yourself doesnt it?
To me that means more than simply buying a cover from GM.

Great job Ruffian118 I would be darn proud of that. And I agree when you do one of these your self you just love your Camaro that much more with your own personal touch!

Looks great!! But I hate to tell you you're selling yourself short..the engine is 312hp, not the 304 advertised by Chevy for 2010.

Yeah, I know - but I had to go with how it was originally rated/advertised (and what all her docs say). But we know what she's really got . And thanks to you and all above for the compliments!
