I too, am waiting for the refund on my deposit on the LS7 wheels. I'll give Mitch a few more days, then file a dispute with my CC company. I hope it doesn't come to this though.

If someone wanted to order wheels from me, I would get an estimated production time from the brand sales rep, then I usually add about 2-3 weeks on top of that quote

Like I said, I'd rather estimate long and hope for better. Nothing sucks worse than getting your hopes up on an early delivery date and then having to count each passing day they are late. I don't like those emails/calls from my customers, so I prefer to be honest.

For example, if you called and told me you wanted custom billet wheels in 4 weeks, I'd kindly reply that it is not possible and wish you the best of luck in finding someone who can do that. The key word being "do" that, and not just one who will "say" that.

Quite a few sales guys from numerous brands have under-quoted deliveries in the past to make a sale. I won't do that.

If you search around the web, you'll find where Iconz has had this happen to them where a dispute is filed and dude STILL didn't get his money.

Now if they begin to lie and tell you they have been shipped and they haven't that is completely different and I have not had that issue with ICONZ to this point.

I have also been told by members on this forum that ICONZ makes a very good product and that if "they were me" they would be patient and not try to cancel the order becasue the wheels themselves are worth it.

Nine Ball already answered that question.

And there have been very few questions about Iconz quality. They seem to make a fine wheel. It's the ethics that I've experienced and heard about. Terrible.

Well it looks like Mitch is pulling through on his promise. He is paying the extra to have my wheels over night shipped to me. If I was to take the delivery at home I would have them tomorrow, but my work is in a small town outside of the city I live in, so it'll be Thursday. At this point I am pleased (again).

"Hi Dana,

Attached are pictures of your wheels at various stages including being
loaded onto the truck for overnight delivery.
Your work address is in an extended area so overnight for that means you
will have them on Thursday, the 29th, ahead of schedule....

Can we both take a deep breath and be friends again?

Thanks,
Mitch "

P.S. The last pic is my favorite.

Those wheels would look fantastic on a black 4th gen. Nice choice!

Glad to hear things should work out. I think most vendors could avoid these kinds of issues if they were just more honest about delivery times. I will never guarantee an early date just to make a sale, especially since my experience shows most orders run on the late side already. Looking forward to seeing pics mounted!

you know they took all those pics AFTER you started ranting about them on here

shouldn't they have been balanced beforehand according to what you were told,

i hope they fit with no problems... that would be icing on the cake if not

Thanks guys. The wheels look even better in person.

That's right. Mitch DID pull through and I on my way home right now to put them on.
