Ok so I just want to inprove daily driving experiance. It seems like my 98Z28 is easier to hold going straight, neither car has any susppension mods.
I was thinking I needed to upgrade sways, but after this it looks like the first step would be Installing Pedders EP6578 and EP1200 inserts.
Correct?

Spot on. After those go in get the Camaro aligned, not because the installation of parts requires an alignment, but because the OE alignment is a bit numb.

add a bit of toe out to your alignment on the front wheel. Not much, jut a touch .10 Toe out each wheel. Take the camber in front to -1 per wheel. set the rear to zero toe and half the front camber. These three changes will give your Camaro a dramatically improved feel.

Great read, thanks for all the time you put into it. A question I have is about the procharger. It seems like most of the aftermarket tuner companies are using the magnacharger. I haven't driven a car with either one, but from what I've heard and read the procharger makes its power up higher in the revs. Did you choose that for all the road racing you guys do and the engine being spun higher while tracking? Just curious. I 'm hoping to boost mine next year and looking for info.

Another Pro Charger question....why is the air filter located in a hot spot right over the headers? Shouldn't the air come from the coolest area like the grill or does the intercooler do a good enough job to compensate?

The geometry of the blower and location of the OE drive belts. While the intake if far from ideal, we have boosted air that is virtually the same as ambient air. Bottom line, it works.

Pedders and ProCharger feel into a relationship with the 2004 GTO. Since 2004 every car I have owned has been ProCharged. I felt like I was cheating on my wife when Saleen installed a Saleen blower on my Saleen Mustang. In the years of working together I have found the ProCharger units to be highly reliable. They make great power. The parts are high quality. The most important part of the relationship is the people. They treat me GREAT. I am sure that other companies have good people and good products. Unfortunately I don't know them as well as I know the people at ProCharger.

If you are thinking about a blower I strongly suggest that a large part of your buying decision be the local dealer that you will need to support it. A great product sold by a poor dealer will result in a poor experience. A great dealer can make a poor product deliver a great experience. For me that is a imple choice. I choose ProCharger.

A question for you Pedders experts. I have the Xa's and Solution B bars on my SS. I measured my ride height and have a front fender measurement of 28 3/4" and a rear measurement of 29". I compared my measurements with 3 other Xa owners and most of their ride heights are lower than mine. What practical improvements would I have to my car's handling if I lowered it an additional 1/4" all around?

Is there any significant benefit to doing this, other than "looks" which are subjective? My car was intially about 1/2" lower and I had slight front spoiler issues backing out of my driveway (which isn't that steep), and a parking garage I frequent has a down-sloping exit ramp that will make my exhaust pipes hit as I go over the break in the slope, and I can't always exit at an angle because of other traffic. So there was a practical reason for raising my car 1/2". But I can't stand the "pressure" that somebody's car is lower than mine I like how my car looks now, but 1/4" may look even better. Is there a real handling improvement that would result from the 1/4"?

sorry for not answering sooner, i've been dealing with personal issues and must have missed this.

The 1/4" will be more of a looks change rather than a handling change. While obviously the lower the better, clearance is very important.
