LSR Performance's cold air intake for LS3/L99

For those of you looking to do your first modes, check out LSR's new cold air intake. Works great for those of you wanting power and the ones looking for fuel mileage assistance.

LSR Performance's cold air intake has been dyno proven to give you HUGE gains to the tires! Dyno proven to add a remarkable 42hp and 48ftlbs to the rear wheels during mid-range rpms. During peak power we saw a remarkable 36hp and 39 ftlbs of torque at higher rpm!

It’s designed to seal against the underside of the hood and use the factory lower intake tube for directing cool air into the LSR air box. The air box is also powdercoated for durability and great looks. It incorporates a billet velocity stack and mass air flow sensor that is made in house from billet 6061 aluminum.

A high flow “million plus mile” air filter is used for longevity. Lastly, like all LSR Performance parts, this Cold Air Kit features a life time warranty and is made in the USA.
If this sounds like something up your alley and want to know more or make an order for one, call 229-245-9045and ask for Todd

seems hard to believe you get that much power when every other intake seems to be in the 10-15rhwp gain... glad to see a dyno chart, if it is that good, you should have an awesome seller.

lol, a filter on a tube magically gains 42rwhp.

I bet some people here believe it.

A. I'm not hating, I just won't believe this until I see some dynos. It may very well be true.

B. I don't have to own a Camaro to understand performance products. I still have an LS3 car and even with all the ram air intakes out there for the Corvette, I have yet to see gains like these.

Please don't take any of this the wrong way, I just don't see what owning a Camaro has to do with it.

LSR would not claim 42 horsepower and 48 foot pounds of torque if it were not true!
And they don't even have a waiting list!

dyno graph

Here is the original dyno pull testing that was done on this car from a outside 3rd party. It was done on a Eddy Current dyno. This usually provides lower numbers due to the load bearing that is put on the rollers. It gives a more accurate number that is closer to real world conditions. We use it to test gains and find out peak power numbers. In the end 390 -396 hp is what we have seen with our kit and the required tune. We gave those numbers of gains according to this dyno session of testing. Every car can be different and we just posted what the 3rd party found with our car. We are no way trying to scam anyone. We are just posting information on what we have found. At the end of it you get 390-396 hp at the wheel with our kit and a tune. We appreciate the criticism from our customers and potential customers because we see it as valuable information. We use it to create better products and hopefully more happy customers. Thank you and we appreciate you guys considering us for your purchase.

I believe the numbers since a tune was involved. CAI + Tune = Pretty nice gains... A tune alone on LS motors results in some nice power.

Yep, all the guy had to do in the first post was state WITH A TUNE!! It was not stated though, thus the expected reaction.
