Then what was putting pressure on the manifold when you were discussing it in this thread

I saw your tune file and it seems you still need to work on MAF calibration and play with the timing advance.

I have a question to you how did you tune your VE table? Is it necessary to tune both MAF and VE in the same time, even for WOT mod?

I have not touched the VE-just the MAF and I have not tuned my WOT yet! Remember my car is a L99 A6 and yours is a LS3 M6! They are not the same!!!

We weren't talking about putting pressure on the manifold.

When you are looking at MAP (manifold absolute pressure), you can get a gauge of how efficient you're operating during wide open throttle. When you're WOT, typically you want to see your MAP value around 98-99. If it starts dropping lower, it means the engine is having to work harder to pull air into the cylinders, which is a bad thing. It's got nothing to do with triggering power enrichment.

How is your tuning going? I am out of town now but when I get back send your tune to me and I will look it over.

That's good to know but is there any way you can maintain your MAP value 100 or 99?

I did the basic things so far, I just need to wire my widband to HPT for WOT tune.

Yes... a better cam, a better intake manifold, etc... It's purely a byproduct of hardware.
