Thumbs up 2011 Camaro FINALLY hits Chevrolet.com

As reported on CAMARO5 HOMEPAGE.

I just checked Chevrolet.com and GM finally updated the web page to the 2011. Have not checked it completely out yet. Want to let Camaro5 know.

The colors of on the car looks off to me. Like too flat, especially CGM. I also dont like how you have to use the little arrow to turn the car to snapshots of each angle. I liked how before you could grab the car and move it to each angle quickly and fluidly. Other than that almost no changes that werent expected.

You can still drag the car to rotate it...only at the main camaro overview page though not on the build page.

Where do you see a different spoiler? I can't find it.

It's in the photo gallery under accessories and it says it's only interm availability. That's probably why it's not on the actual build list probably a super special thing.

Thanks, I found it. I'm not too thrilled with that look, but I do think that it wouldn't look right without the ground effects kit.

I personally hate the way it looks. The angle of it and everything is just wrong to me. I'd rather have NO spoiler than that. I wonder why it's only intermittent availability. Maybe if a lot of people want it they will produce more?

Did anyone else notice in the pictures of the 1SS they simply removed the 4 pack gauge cluster from the center console..but kept the steering wheel controls on it? I thought maybe they got lazy and just showed a picture without the 4 pack gauge cluster for the 2SS..but if you select to build the 2SS it is there.

I think someone goofed up..or maybe secretly steering wheel controls are now standard on the 1SS?(well, I can dream, right?)

I looked at that and I see what you mean. You can tell the area where the gauges should be looks photoshopped or something so you may be right...laziness or forgetfulness.

If only they would offer the Convenience and Connectivity Package on the 1SS.

They also screwed up on the SS. If you build an SS there is no spoiler, you have to click RS package to get it but the spoiler is standard on the SS.

I'm looking to buy a 2011 v6 auto. When I do the configuration on the Chevy website, when I check automatic it says the limited slip differential will be deleted. Does this mean the V6 auto will not be available with the limited slip? If so, why with the V6 and not with the 8?
