I will definitely be having the spears painted. lmao

Chris has been on me about it for a while. And now his wife gave me a little nickname apperently. lol

But, ya, the spears don't match the grill because they are a flat finish and they are vinyl.

Emma, that's pretty much similar to what I meant. I may paint some of the grill to know down the bright orange. But I don't know yet.

So then let's say I keep the grill as is.

Put the lower grill back on, or leave it off?

The fit and finish is freaking awesome though. Paint is flawless. Now I gotta have the GM orange on my hood spears.

Thank You once again BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet for a great product and a great price.

Becky had me this grill in about 2 days literally. And checked to see if I got it before it came in. Awesome.

Now I gotta get my headers and exhaust finalized.

Did you need some kind of adapter for your bow-tie to fit on the heritage? I haven't ordered one because I didn't want to lose the bow-tie up front.

No. You just drill little holes where you see the arrows in the pic here. And use zip ties. Trust me, they will hold better than any stock emblem. Easy to drill the holes too.

Buy a grill from Becky. She can have the paint matched perfect. Install was really easy too. Hell, I'll give you my cell and talk you through it. it's really that easy.

Nope. Funny you say that. Last night Bonnie came out with a cup of coffee for me and said "Please don't break anything"

I said, it's just a car, I can fix it. It's an easy install.

She said, "I'm not talking about the car"

I'm thinking put the lower grill back on... the chrome accents match up with the chrome on the wheels and pulls it all together.

The day pics look really good. The night pics were tricky 'cause they overexposed the grille and made it look ricey, which it really isn't.

Keep it. Fits your personality and Bonnie's wild hair...

Personally, I like the stock grill better with the Heritage grill. I think it's a better match.

BAH!! I'm an idiot...

I agree with Mlee and Gtavit -- it looks better when it's on, imo.

And, dude -- I missed the whole painted heritage grille thing! Looks GREAT!

Now that I look again... I think you should paint the Heritage Grill to match the hood spears not visa versa...

Actually, I am having the spears painted on to match the grill. It would cost too much and be a pita to paint the grill to match the flat vinyl stripes.

But I have decided to put the lower grill back on and paint it black.
