Is there a reason why you can order it before the movie is even out?

just a z-28 related thought. if this is overpriced cos of the whole movie thing and it is pushing 599hp does that mean the z-28 will be waaaaay cheaper like 10k cheaper? maybe even cheaper than the gt500?

Uh how can this thing make an extra 173hp from just a CAI and 3 inch catback? I know people with an SS that has a CAI, catback, LT headers and a cam that don't even make those numbers....

It says it's supercharged. There's probably even more power to be squeezed out of this setup.
And for those people infatuated with the fact that it looks like a Trans Am... that's sort of the point...

Ah you're right my bad. I missed the supercharged part. I like the look but wouldn't buy one.

I saw it in person at Carlisle in June...it does look better in person, but, for my personal taste, it's a little much.

Might be a good car for the Pontiac enthusiasts who would love to see a 5th Gen. Firebird.

I don't see how being a reproduction of a car in a movie by itself will make it a collector item. Even cars that were actually involved in the filming of a movie are on average only slightly more valuable than any other car. (Of course it depends on the popularity of the movie)

I am pretty sure that would cause some legal issues.

Nah, this isn't a Camaro anymore. Looks too much like a Pontiac Trans Am from my hell raising years in the 70's. 60K? Good luck!

Not for me... It's radical and would make an awesome show car, but wouldn't want it for daily use. Definitely not for 60k...

They should have washed it before displaying it at the car show.
