It is the firebreathing dragon in the trunk that gives it the extra 173 HP. lol.

The Z28's and Firebirds just aren't Camaro's. The first few years is what put the Camaro on the map. The style was unique. The 2010 took the early years style, and gave a 21st century look. I think they nailed it. It is one of the best looking, unique Camaro's in its history. I have an LT1. If someone driving that offered an even trade, I would pass.

The 2010 Camaro is a better looking, no nonsense car, that you would never get sick of looking at, hands down.

Man I love the sense of solidarity and identity that I feel by having my intrests narrowed and exploited by like minded zealots! (*Calven and Hobbes quote paraphrased, Watterson 11-26-1995)

hehehe couldnt help it lawlz! OK so I admit it has a little bit of garish apeal but ehhh. . . . Camaro 4eva!

Never been a fan of the Firebird... so I guess that it'll peak the interest of those types. I do like what they did to the front and it gives me some ideas for the future with my car.

Nothing against you but all of you say I would rather have a Z-28, like its something thats out there. Yeah its coming true but who knows what its going to be. I wish people would stop saying Id rather have a Z. Who knows maybe the car is the same as the SS with just some badge changes and some interior changes, who knows.

Power is provided by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine with a cold-air induction system and a 3-inch cat-back dual exhaust

What's wrong with that? It's not like they show it and get us all excited and then make us wait for ever and a day to finally offer it if at all... kind of like GM accessories.
Plus gives them time to customize them for delivery on the date the movie comes out.

Doesn't "starting at $60k" imply that there are different trim levels and options? I don't see any of that detailed on their website.

In the absence of better info I am left to assume that the $60k is the lowest amount you can pay which includes just a base model 2SS and no options.

WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS CAR IN A HEARTBEAT!!

Like someone already wrote, the whole purpose of the car was to be reminiscent of the FIREBIRD.

I still own and love/respect/enjoy/rave/trust/care/flaunt/protect/ and thank G_d for my '95 Bird.

My CAMARO costed around USD$60,000.00-- including import duties, taxes, & shipping and at the time I order it (I was the firts to order one in my neck of the woods) I did not know what I was getting into!!!

If this car wold have been around last year... well YOU CAN BET YOUR SWEET A___ ON WHAT WIL BE SITTING IN MY GARAGE RIGHT NOW!!
!

IN RED!! :5thgenvert:

Doesn't anyone read? It's a supercharged 6.2L that produces 599 HP. Far from a base 2SS.

I agree, Its cool but for too much money. I guess if you dont mind paying, more power to ya.

I like those tail lights/rear design, not really into anything else on it. Let me know when they market the rear piece only. put the front T2 ports in and that rear on and i'll be happy.

No thank you. It just looks too....................bat mobile ish. The nose is too pointy and the lights look like something out of a George Barris memorabilia book. Im sure they did some great performance mods but in the end, not something I would spend money on. If given, maybe for a week or two but then sold im sure to finance a Z28. This Firebreather gets a thumbs down.

you people talk like 55+ is not big deal for a Z-28 and then come on here and say 60 grand is to much for a car that looks good and will be just as fast if not faster. Alot of hype I think about the Z and not a whole lot of money to back that hype
