Fastlane CAI, Borla Long Tube Headers, Borla Catback Touring exhaust, T&T Performance e-mailed tune................

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Touring my ass. Holy crap this sounds good. Like if God were a Camaro, he'd sound like this. I felt my car was getting too pretty of late and had a complex a little. Not anymore. WOW, my car is an a-hole again. Angry and pissed off.

The catless system is awesome with the touring exhaust.

Feels like I gained a full second. I know I didn't but I have no doubt I gain a half. This thing hauls ass. MUCH more put you back in the seat power. Tim totaly nailed this thing. I'm gonna drive it for
a few weeks and see how I like it as far as the full tune. Could change some shift points but I love this.

Tim just mailed me the tuner and I e-mailed him the stock tune from my car, he changed what I needed and emailed it back, I put it in the car. Done.

The coolest thing of all? I'm illegal in California.

Awesome! I am also going with the Borla Touring for two reasons:

(1) I love the big block sound of Borla
(2) I live in a quiet 352 family residential neighborhood

Edit: you are also illegal in Tennessee, but only if you get caught without cats.

This is anything but quiet. But I have no cats so you should be right on.

PQ-
I also have the Borla touring exhaust with Kooks headers. I love the sound. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Even with cats, it growls.

Congrats on the new mods. These cars are just too quiet stock! I love what headers and the Borla Touring exhaust sounds and feels like.

Edit: "S" Type, not the ATAK

Here's the Vid of the new exhaust.. There was a last minute change.. Randy actually went with the Borla "S" Type catback...

Uh yeah... it's loud... But in a good way..

Sorry about all the road noise in the background of the fly by clips... We're right next to the free way and there was pretty heavy traffic...

Check it out.

I really wanted to do a DIY vid. But we didn't really have the time to shoot everything and do it right..

But it was pretty straight forward. If you are careful not to smack the spark plugs you can do it pretty easily with 2 guys.

Air ratchet and air impact wrench. All I'm sayin...

We palyed around with the tunes and settled on the more mild one that seemed to have the best balance.

I'm guessing it won't be too much longer till Randy has his Maggie... He's found his new addiction...

Sweet video. Nice job guys.. Now I'm on the fence about what to do with mine. Not sure I want headers (she's my DD), just want a little more growl.

BTW: You mentioned competition, it this Bonnie's event?? Please keep us posted.

Might need to speak with you boys about a setup for my car. Christmas is coming, ya know?

Great job, nice graphics on the video too.. She sounds like a real "screamer".

The video is GREAT! Thanks for posting those for us. The car sounds amazing.

I have the same addiction. Once you start the performance mods, you just want MOAR!

The car is looking and sounding fab!

That's exactly what I wanted - more growl but not horrendously loud. That's why I went with Kooks LT headers and the Borla Touring exhaust. Not as loud as the Atak or S-type. It still growls, but I can still hear my music when cruising on the highway.

If you don't want headers, I'd highly recommend the Borla or Flowmaster, catback system.

The Borla ATAK is pretty loud but won't be as loud as Randy's with Borla Long tube as they don't have cats on them.

I'd say the borla of you want a more aggressive sound. and The Flow master if you'd like a more throaty smoother sound.

The vids are a little deceiving..

It really isn't too lound in the cabin... but when he goes WOT, you know it.
