Someone told me I had to eat at the Pink Taco at the Hard Rock. Seen some pics, but I I don't know if we can fit 50 people in there.

I am the one who set up the dinner last year. We had close to 50 people at that dinner, maybe 45 I think. I was originally having it at the Yard House, but once the number got that big, they declined to host us. SO I was foced to change it last minute to that horrible Brazilian place. (Sorry to those who went, I tried).

I am alot more well versed in Las Vegas cuisine since I have spent much time there this year buying a house out there and all. I am ALMOST a local, probably by next summer. Anyway, Claim Jumper is one of my favorite finds out there.........excellent food, great atmosphere. I just think we will be VERY CLOSE to 100 + people.

Talked to Tribone, I am happy to hear some of the real Vegas locals are taking such an active roll. Thanks guys, I look forward to what we put together. I will make a nice 2010 Camaro Banner for the meet and bring it with me when I come out. This is going to be great.

Once we get closer I suggest that the person heading this up start a "2010 SEMA DINNER ATTENDANCE LIST" Thread. Let me know if I can help in any way!

^are you talking about Texas De Brazil? Oh man I love that place!!! Not sure I'd recommend a large group go there. Plus it's very pricey. But it is probably my favorite place to eat in Vegas right now. All you can eat meat, and there's like 12 different kinds. Plus the lobster bisk soup is to die for.

Anyway, back to where we should eat, that's two people who say claim jumper.

If you guys google map "town square, las Vegas", and zoom in, you'll see how the parking structure is. It's usually packed like on the map, but usually a ton of parking on the outer skirts.

Gina's going to look at the past CES press events and figure out what venues work. She suggested TAO, but I told her we want it to be under $100 a person...

Maybe more like under 40$ a person, more the reason a vendor/sponsor/group of should step up to the plate and take advantage of this opportunity to promote themselves to C5 members.

I 'm sure all of us are not just going to just see it, we will be buying just as soon as it's over.

Big boy' and girl's toy store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally all set with my SEMA registration (after the run around with the SEMA folks).

Not sure what others thought but if they did not want to go $$$ what about the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara the place seats 600 (380 upstairs and 220 down stairs) they have a full bar and pretty good food?

Just a thought

Sean

Claim Jumper is not that expensive. Unless you go with steak and lobster. Lol. They offer half portions, which I recommend unless you're really hungry or want leftovers. Price is about 15-20 a person. I'm sure there's menu online.

NASCAR cafe might be good too. I've never been. I guess we would park at the sahara?

Yea they do have a good size parking garage and the last time I went to the Casino to gamble the top level was always empty (CF Vegas style Photo shoot

Again just an idea

Just a FYI I did get in contact with the manager of the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara Hotel & Casino. He said he would have no problem accommodating 100+ people on Thursday November 4, 2010 if we wish to use this venue. The only downside to the Nascar Café is the limited menu it’s more of a bar style menu.

The managers name is Randy his number in 702-481-4732

Well at least this is a start let’s see what else we can come up with

Sean

I've lived in Vegas for over 20years... I'd love to make the dinner would be a lot of fun to meet other C5 folks as long as someone not going to the show can join ya all for "eats".

I haven't been able to find a way to get a pass so I hope that all that go do take LOADS of pics!!!

The parking lot @ Claimjumper is quite large and well lit, would be Great to see all the C5 in the lot too!!!!

Awesome! I don't think we're more concerned if Claim Jumper can accommodate 50+ people.
