Custom Stripes - How to visualize?

OK, I am ordering my new Camaro on Friday. The dealer I'm ordering through is offering custom painted stripes for the same price as the stickers. My problem is that I can't visualize exactly how I want them. Is there any software that can render the stripes to allow me to preview and tweak until everything is perfect?

Or you can go to the official color thread. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14434

I had an idea of how I wanted my stripes painted but wanted to see if I could find someone who had done anything remotely close. My stripes are now painted and I couldn't be happier!

Casper you are a genius! Everytime I see your stripes I get the urge to paint something, anything...what a great color scheme and layout! I do not have the testosterone to pick up a gun and shoot. It has been over 30 years since I painted a vehicle! Question for the So Cal guys who might read this... anyone have a good recommendation for someone who has painted their stripes in the So Cal area??? I want it done right the first time. Send me a private message if you don't want to post publicly! Thanks in advance.

Thanks and it had also been 30 years on the this end.........anyone whose considering modding their Gen5's . Adding Stripes is the most dramatic change you can make to individualize your rides. Such a visual improvement to an already classy design.................Go for it!

and d69chris..........those are outstanding !

You could find the person that you want to use, like I did, and tell him a general idea of what you are going for. Then have him lay out the tape and you two can play with several ideas. We went back and forth of having the hockey sticks follow the wheel lines or the hugging the hood. Laying out the tape will take away any concerns you may have.
