Guys,

I am not sure if or when I am going to order. I have no reason for choosing MTI over Vengance. I have heard great things about Vengance too, but have also heard good things about MTI also.

And I haven't choose them yet, I just had them give me an estimate/quote on the parts.

The world isn't going to end if I end up choosing them for my parts. They have been great to me so far. I spent most of Friday on the phone with them talking over what I wanted to do. He gave me different options based on what I wanted out of my car.

Vengance's price on a supercharger is less than MTI, but that doesn't include installation as far as I'm aware. MTI has a special price going right now, their supercharger is $7500 installed. That was my biggest thing was how much was I going to have to pay for installation.

Like I said Vengance is a great. I have heard nothing but good from them. But MTI is the same way.

It was about how much it was gonna cost me. I don't wanna spend more money when I could have spent less.

I was just asking. I think they all are having specials right now on S/C's. I have got some quotes for 6500.00 installed and tuned, but they are up north. I don't think you can go wrong I just personally like Vengeance because they helped me with a problem and made my car run like a dream

Yeah sorry if there was some confusion in my post lol. I just happen to stumble across MTI first with the superchargers.

Vengance is an awesome place they are run pretty well.

I think since GM announced the Z28 and it will be S/C that alot of vendors are coming down on the prices. I had three people pm me today and all had a 6500.00 install and tune price.

Well still am not sure if I am going do the Maggie right now or not. After MTI gave me my quote I fiddled around trying to figure out what I could do about the money. Well a couple of weeks passed and I hadn't gotten back with 'em on it. we were coming home last night and I get onto the highway to head back and punch it. My son looks at me and grins. I say the only thing missing from that is the whine from Maggie. He asked if I had gotten back with them yet, and I said no.

Then we started talking(mind you the maggie was almost out of the picture by then) I tell him I am going to e-mail him this weekend and try to negotiate a price. At first he had the supercharger installed ans tuned at $7500. To install the headers was like $500. I told my son I am going to see what he can do as to make it all on one installation instead of charging me extra for the headers to install. So I am going to e-mail them.

I am also going to contact Vengance to see what they can do fro me.

So fingers crossed I can get the right price. I am hoping to have this done in the next month or so.

Thanks for reading my posts and helping me out John.

Bump!

Wow it has been a while since I have updated this.

I have an appointment with MTI the 21st of this month. Still trying to get the money situated.

So hoping I can have this done that day lol.

My son got me some black bowtie inserts. And I have to say I was a little skeptical about them at first but man they look good on this RJT, make it stand out a little.

While we were at a meet this weekend there was another RJT their that had the White hood spears. Those have grown on me too. Thinking about putting some on with 6.2 LS3 engraved in 'em.

I will include pictures of the new bowties.

And also wondering if I should get A/F and Boost gauges installed on my car in the A-pillar or not Any suggestions with that will be appreciated lol.

So pictures to follow are black bowties and a/f, boost gauge.

Now I am starting to think about new wheels. haha. The list just won't stop. But it will be a while before I do anything with new wheels. So was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions on wheels for my RJT.

I have seen some nice chrome rims. But I also am liking either powdercoated or black wheels.

So if anybody has any suggestions on wheels please post them up, would really like some opinions.

Thanks.
