Good choice because I have family that live in Phoenix and it's only a 10 - 11 hour drive (doing the speed limit )

That's the place, got a Casino. Kind of like Vegas, LOL.

Tran and the mods don't have to put on a fest at all, but they do. They've spent a great deal of time and effort to be fair to those on the west coast that couldn't make it last year. They can't please everyone. I wanted to go last year but it wasn't feasible due to not being able to get time off work. I wasn't bitter even though I would've loved to have attended. No need to be sarcastic and criticize the people who put this together. This is a great forum to be apart of and I'm thankful we have people like Tran and the mods who have gone out of their way to try to make our community happy. Next year it will probably be more of a central location which will probably please a good deal more people, but until then it's Firebird.

Oh, I can't speak for all the west coast, but I don't think Cali will have a hard time finding people to represent the west coast.

@2010camaroRS, that population map doesn't show how many of the population owns camaros, plus the east coast already had camaro5fest this year, the mods are trying to be fair to everyone, so it worked out for the west coast for c5f2, lets see where it works out for c5f3

Yeah - this would be best place to stay, you could walk to firebird in a few minutes from Wild Horse.

I told you it would be the happiest place on earth. (when 300+ camaros are rolling through the streets)
I would've answered you through PM earlier, but by the time I logged on and saw your post it was too late.

I'm scheduling a party at my house following C5Fest . There's only so much room so only lady members of C5 are invited.

Hmmm, just might have to take a couple weeks off and make it a family vacation. Hit C5Fest, then the West Coast, then head back and hit Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Pikes Peak, and if still feeling energetic, shoot up to Mt. Rushmore, and then home. Might need to take a couple more days off to recover lol.

If Mt. Rushmore is included, it is about 85 hours driving time. I'd love to take the Camaro to Phoenix, but wouldn't want to have both my wife & I drive the whole 85 hours, so may have to look into shipping the Camaro back home.
