Are the fuel lines you are using Bruce Teflon lined? I finally had some time to check out the build, everything looks to perfection! Your fuel system is very similar to the system on our C6Z race car, I dig it!

I will be in Orlando for PRI, how far are you from the area, Ill need to see this in the "flesh"

Regards

Oh you suck !! You weren't gonna tell until it was mounted. The Saturn 5 booster will be in your garage by tomorrow. You just have to figure out if it goes on the Camaro or the Chevelle... The fuel truck in the front yard without the plates is just a bonus. Sorry about the tracks by the truck. They were left over from the bucket loader we used to set it there.

I do not believe we used teflon hose. From what I have been told (and I could be mis-informed) but in general neither Earl's nor Aeroquip makes a special -10 or -8 teflon for fuel. They only recommend using that for air conditioning. If it is regarding ethanol, I do not plan to run ethanol fuel mixes in SST unless it's impossible.

I will be in Orlando for PRI, how far are you from the area, Ill need to see this in the "flesh"

It should be here in December. If I bring it over to PRI, can you get me in ? (Me, not the car...ha, ha)

I plead the 5th. It hasn't been a budget build, but NRE has been very realistic about the charges for the workmanship performed.

For the -10, -8 teflon, is it one of the major BSS suppliers ?

P.S. I like the stuff you have done with Mark's C's Corvette... That thing is flying...

It will be out at sema this year, and it is not of the major guys! Once its relased Ill dish the details!

Also Marks car is getting there, we have been going 8.5's now with the car, with out a 3 step and still at 18-19 psi. We are shooting for low eights at LSX shoot out!

Some quick videos -

(not sure how to link the videos directly into the forum)

Sorry for the side track.

I have been out of town pretty much continuous the last week and a half. I'll try to post some updated material as soon as I get caught up.

Thanks. Been out of town a lot lately.

Here is the new intake. The crazy IR cross ram intake has to get the CNC routines ironed out so instead of waiting any longer on that one, we had Hogan built this custom intake to NRE's specific specs for this engine/car. i.e. The plenum area, runner cross section dimensions, height (this clears the raised hood we bought by about a 1/4") and the hidden plumbing goodies are for this car.

Picture 1 - The intake on the bench with the billet nose pieces in place. This intake has a huge plenum volume and tons of runner length.
Picture 2 - The hidden octane-on-demand fuel distribution system.
Picture 3 - The business end of the hidden fuel rail and hidden injectors. Note that the lower set of injectors is completely horizontal. The injector will shoot right to the back of the valve.

Now we just need to get everything connected and wired. Then the hardline turbo plumbing will be done and onto the dyno it will go.

The C-16 tank is 16 gallons.

Fuel and Ignition Control is Electromotive TEC3r. Meany's BS3 is a great system, but we needed the TEC3r since it must control 16 injectors, 4 coils, 2 fuel pumps, dual crankshaft pickups and a myriad of other sensors all while integrating with the factory ECU,the transmission ECU and the fuel control computer. Ugh...

Wow. That's amazing B. I'm sure that's one-off never to be duplicated! Very nice.

edit: those welds are just perfect. And in tight confines too.
