Arrow "Camaros in da haus........" (incl. first photos of factory installed stripes)

I've been looking forward to "this" day for a longggggggggggggg time.........

We opened NAIAS Press days on Sunday -- thru today (Tuesday) -- and for the first two days, we featured the "Camaro Black" concept (SEMA) as well as a Silver V6 (1LT) with RS package -- both on a platform.......they look killer with their halos glaring at anyone who happens to look at them....

............................(which, of course, is everyone........)

About an hour ago, we brought a Victory Red / cyber Gray Stripes -- SS/RS onto the floor -- (....a Subaru screamed...)

.........and I gotta tell you -- it was like a magnet....

........we have a lot of workers on the floor putting the finishing touches in each exhibit -- as we tore out the stage last evening and are continuing to bring additional cars and trucks on the floor..........the Camaro brought all work to a stand-still..........

.............and it was just the greatest feeling to watch everyone come over and start to snap pictures -- and to talk to each other -- and the expressions on faces was priceless.

.....................an entire "Camaro Family" on the floor at one place........

Promises made -- promises kept.....................

(for those of you attending NAIAS-- the Red SS/RS will be open for you to climb in and out of -- )

EDITED TO ADD PHOTOS OF Victory Red / cyber Gray Stripes -- SS/RS

Ambient Lighting working on it?

Man, I used to get in during press days when my mom was a brand manager for Olds... those were the days.

Boy SCOTT, YOU DA MAN IN DA HAUS, is it possible that you take the pictures and give them to the moderators. Any one of the forum members would probably be happy to help you to upload some pics.

That just goes to show you what an outstanding job the Camaro team (and GM in general) did on this car. Give yourself a pat on the back, I am sure it is amazing to realized that you were part of this dream that got realized for so many people.

We need pictures, I want to see the CGM stripes. This , if I am correct, would be the first striped Camaro on display. The Saleen Bumblebee looks good but it don't count.

Are the stripes on the SS going to be what is expected from the factory for the length?

One of these years, I'd like to make it up to the NAIAS. Looking forward to seeing pics of that SS/RS...You'd think by now, we would have dispatched a mod or even Tran to see this new Camaro and get pics - exclusive sneek peek by Camaro5.com. I'm sure Autoblog, LLN, and Jalopnik would post the story immediately.

Scott - Any chance you could send a Victory Red LT1/RS or SS2/RS with white stripes and a blade spoiler down to the Houston Auto Show on the 24th of January?
