Wait people actually buy songs? I haven't paid for music in years.

NICE!!

This is one reason the economy is the way it is. No shot at you Sizzox.

People feel that it is not stealing. Say being on disability and then working under the table.

Getting off my soapbox now.

Didn't the government pretty much stop going after people for downloading?

And I have to say, iPod FTW. I love my 16GB touch.

If you happen to have an older version of Itunes on another computer, and another older software app that's no longer available from it's publisher, you can buy songs through Itunes, and then remove their security lock.

But i'm with you on buying MP3's from Itunes, too much of a PITA.

There is also less controversial software out there that lets you pull files off of your Ipod and put them back onto a computer.
Makes backing up files alot easier.

Iphone is the way to go. Works great in my wifes Lexus.
Didn't they just recently remove the proprietary lock on iTunes for music purchased? I heard something about it about 3 weeks ago.
As long as the Camaro will be able to use bluetooth for teh phone, I'm good. Using the mini jack and aux. is fine. You have to change songs and such with the iPhone or iPod or whatever but I usually just start some music and leave it alone.

That would be great if they actually took the lock off from Itunes music, might actually try buying from there again..

Yes they remove DRM from most of the itunes store, supposed to be removed from the entire store by summer. Smart move by Apple, with Amazon finally bringing some competition their way they needed to stop sabotoging themselves.

mp3's are no longer drm protected from itunes... so music you buy there can go anywhere now.

the pricing has been adjusted aswell... now songs are either 1.29 or .69 depending on how new/old they are.

All the music I download is from DJ Mixtapes and is legal to download. The bottom of the site states All Mixtapes Are FREE & For PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. They are so easy to download just download the torrent file and the whole album will download.

No they still are going after people. A chick my brother goes to school with got nailed over christmas with something like 60,000+ songs downloaded illegally. They don't bother those with just a small amount of songs though.

hey just FYI to all, when you leave your ipod in your car during the day while you're at school or work or whatever BE SURE TO TURN IT OFF. some of the USB ports in cars charge them while the car battery is on and some do not like my mothers MKX. so whenever i leave the car parked and have my ipod plugged in i have to turn it off because it will totally drain the IPOD's battery because it does not turn the ipod off itself.
