Question Backlight for grill

I have seen some camaros with a backlight behind the grill. I couldn't find any other threads on this because I'm not really sure what they are called. For the people doing this...where is it located? And is this just an LED strip from AAC or what? Just curious about what they are and how they are installed. Thanks for the info!

If you are installing the strip you can remove the radiator panel and access the area behind the grill and mount to the bumper reinforcement. We usually use 2'-5' or LED strip to illuminate the grill, depending on the amount of light you are trying to achieve.

The ColorSHIFT version can change colors and requires a controller:

So, I am buying the ColorSHIFT oracle halos and fogs. Can I just buy the ColorSHIFT leds and wire them in with those? Will that work or will I need a seperate controller still?

UV Purple Looks great on Rally Yellow, especially since this customer already had purple stripes
