i have a 1LT/RS

$464/month for 6 years

almost 2 years into my loan...had a $16k trade in also

i was one of the impatient ones who bought mine off the lot a month after they were released in may 2009, so i paid $5k over sticker...whatever, it was worth it

Based on your previous threads you should really look into more affordable/cheaper first car(IMHO of course). I hate financing a depreciating asset (if you can call a car an asset in th first place), so paid cash for mine. At the end of the day though it is your money, do with what you deem right. Good luck.

For easy math figure appr. $17-22 per $1000 financed (60 month loan) depending on credit score etc.

These kinds of threads are absolutely worthless.

1. Almost everyone's financial situation is different -- from credit, to the amount they put down, trade/no trade, taxes that vary by state, as well as anything else included in the sale price (accessories, stripes, etc).

2. A lot of people who know nothing about money feel the need to comment.

You need to figure out what works best for you in your own financial situation, and what you're comfortable with. The model of the car doesn't matter, it's the final selling price. So, build up your car with as few options or as many as you like. Take the final price and start your workup.

Yes, they're pretty much all over. You just have to look. There are a few on eBay, etc.

$440 a month. Roughly $25k of the purchase was financed (the rest was paid in cash). My interest rate was 2.99% through Pentagon Federal.

Probably not gonna find a deal like that at a dealer (I can only speak for Arizona of course). Most 2SS/RS I have seen are in the $33k - $38k range depending on mileage and options.

I'll repeat what someone already said on the thread. Depending on your rate, you are looking at $16 - $17 per thousand financed. Also repeating what someone else said, go get pre-approved at the local CU. I did that, and GMAC ended up matching my rate from the CU.
