And yes, I do see this costing $60K or more to accomplish, just to set expectations. It's obvious that the days of real super-performance vehicles is coming to a close due to all of the "tree huggers" out there so let's go wild one last time.

GM doesn't have to advertise this one....work it through the enthusiast forums and you'll see enough. This would be a limited edition just like the Ron Fellows, ZRs, etc....and PLEASE don't put the z28 badging on it...this is BETTER than a z28!

I like this idea! Basically, bring back the COPO while we still can!!! Not that I could afford it, but it would be cool to see this option "secretly" available again. Other than that, I would like to see:

1. Z/28
2. HUD
3. T-Tops
4. "Real" Hugger Orange available
5. Houndstooth Cloth Interior Option

To look at diversity I would like to see green as well. Never buy one but I think it should be built. I would like to know for sure on the HUD, but the Nav is not a big deal. I mostly use mine as a HUD speedometer.

We definitely need the Z28 with 550 HP. I am so there.

Dual climate control? not so much, don't use it in my truck, in fact it is almost annoying.

Make all the dealer installed options FACTORY installed options.

Seems like any vehicle I drive I find little things that would make it more friendly or would need a bit better design. I remember when they had round and square buttons on the GM trucks, one for power windows, one for power locks and you always knew which one you were going to push until the next year when they shaped them all the same. Little things like that go a long ways with me.

I read today that Ford is moving thier radio antenna from the front to the rear on the 2010 Mustang. Until people get this car and start driving i don't know that we can add much detail to the list and I think we already have a damn good start.

It would be nice to see some subtle changes on an annual basis though, just so some of us could easily tell the years apart.

Green (like everyone else)
Recaro seat option
Black/DEJ type suede seating inserts
DCT
Track package similar to the one offered on the Hyundai Genesis Coupe, especially on non-SS models.
Smaller, lighter, performance wheels.

You know something Zedder? I'm not saying what you said was bad, but for the people like me who haven't ordered their car yet, and have been contemplating waiting so I don't have to pay MSRP, what you have just done is about completely seal the deal for me to wait untill 2011 to buy a Camaro. Every logical reason:

1. Gives GM a year to work out any kinks
2. Prices come down, I can get it at a logical price
3. You say somethings will blow our mind

That does it..... I'm officially waiting untill 2011.

Thanks for making my mind up for me

a few things . . .

- Functional cowl hood or functional CAI type hood.
- Make RS fascia available for ALL models. Non slot
- Relocate back up lamps, cleaner fascia.
- Redesigned instrument panel, one that integrates all gauges. Do not like looking down to view them.
- Eliminate auto dimming interior RVM option.
- Electric steering
- Hide-away headlamps

Some questions/comments - There is no RS specific fascia. The RS package only adds HIDs, 20in wheels with specific finish, darker taillamps, spoiler on non-SS models, colored roof ditch moldings, and badges.

Just wondering why you'd want the auto-dimming mirror eliminated. Do you want it optional, or do you want it removed completely?

And why would you ever want electric steering over hydraulic? You generally lose so much steering feel and communication. Sure it has a very marginal fuel economy gain, but is that really worth it? Heck no.

I've posted a list before but the biggest would be a DI V8, and of course HUD would be cool to, oh and fitting NAV into the HUD display would be interesting as well.

HUD, with a redesign of normal interior gauges eliminate looking down as much as possible.
Built in stereo Hard Drive (a small 10-20GB will be more than enough)
Push Start
Rear Seat Delete (only for the fact that i don't want more than one person with me while driving)
With rear seat delete full sized spare
GREEN!!!!
Functional Hood Scoop
Track Pack (wheels, suspension, gearing, body kit)
3.5 engines (DI V6 LS & 1LT ~300hp, DI V6 Twin [or single] Turbo 2LT ~390hp, DI V8 SS ~460hp, GMPP turbo for V8 Z28 or just as an option ~550hp)
HID's Standard on all Models

don't care for NAV at all since; 1- my phone does it just fine, 2- It's a $XXX option whereas buying on eat best buy/online is cheaper and can be transferred from vehicle to vehicle.)

Sh*t, if I could wait two years I would, but I need it now...or do I...should I cancel?!!!

The whole, "Blow you away thing" can only mean supercharger.

The paint thing must mean some of the REAL colors from back in the day, along with painted factory stripes instead of the stupid vinyl ones!

I could only hope for T-Tops!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Would also want a much quicker constant steering ratio, (12.7-1) instead of what we're getting (16.1-1 variable rate).

The most stout suspension possible, so we don't have to waste time taking it in after we get it.

As big of a direct injection V8 as the Government will allow! (But being I live...I mean exist in California, I don't like my chances.)

Factory tinted windows done to the customers preference and state of residence, so we don't have to waste time taking it in after we get it.

I never thought of side exhaust, but love the idea!

Heck, I could write a book, but I need two things right now. First, I need some sleep. Second, I need some WINNING lotto tickets!!!

OK, based on that comment, I am going to guess that the 2011 Camaro linup will include an LS7 version and some of the bells and whistles that were available on the BLACK and JR. cars.

Personally, I love the Camaro just the way that it is. If I could ask for anything, I guess it would be long strips, HUD and a more powerful version for those who don't think 426hp is enough.
