Injen Short Ram Intake installed!!!

Just finished installing my new Ijen short ram intake to my new ride! I have it put away for the winter so I haven't started it yet. Something to look forward to in three weeks on my drive down the east coast. . I also have a MRT 1.0 axle-back to go with it. . it already growls, anyone know if the new intake will make it louder??? and for a side question, If I changed my oil 750 miles ago to synthetic and stored it for 3 months, do i have to change it again before I take my trip?? Thanks....

first post!!! glad to be a part of the family

Congrats! I installed the same intake a couple of months ago. I don't have an exhaust yet, so I'm not sure how they will interact, but when I added the intake with stock exhaust, the exhaust sounded a little bit deeper (not much). Inside the car, the engine has more growl especially when you stomp on the gas!

Injen will change the note for the better, slightly deeper, slightly louder and more aggressive.

It looks good but I think you're missing a piece of the rubber seal on the front edge of the lid.

I have the short ram as well. I've noticed there is a whistle sound to it. At first I thought there was a vacume leak or something like it, till a few members said they were experiencing the same thing. It could be ther seal gaps in between as it sucks air.

Not much horse power released, did notice it just breathes better, so acceleration/take offs are faster and does not feel like its choking.

How is this at low RPM? Any noticeable difference from stock?
