Nail in tire.....

So this morning I had the car at the dealership and they found a nail in my left front tire. They were able to remove and plug.

My question is can I drag race with said tire?

No way I'd race with a patched tire. Look at it this way, you have a good reason to by some skinnies for racing

Had similar problem with mine, however i do not race. Plugging does reduce the speed rating, so i had the tire replaced for $650. I did buy the optional tire and cosmetic insurance at the time of purchase for $1100. Just had to file a claim for the reimbursement.

I have a plugged tire. It and they patched the inside and plugged it. We have tracked it since. I mean in a V6 you only really get to 98 tops and most people do that one the street.

shouldn't be a problem seeing as how it's a front tire. I wouldn't do it too much though.
