I cant wait to see it in person as I really wish mine had come together a little quicker so I could make C5II but I have plenty of events planned for the year and hopefully get to see you somewhere along the way. Congrats on finally getting this project wrapped up.
Thank so much J and good speaking with you yesterday. I wish you could somehow get your Inferno beast out to C5FestII but know how things aren't always possible. Maybe fly out ? In the meantime, please post videos. The sound of a cog drive F1-R just screams power...

Yeah - a 2 fold statement. 1) The intercooler is hanging by guy wires, not bolted in like the SST 2) Figured if we went over 30 psi the head gaskets would have pushed out on those heads. Hence the short pull at 28.

Thank You very much. Trying not to disappoint, but it's just a car enthusiast build.

Wow and a huge congrats on creating a legend.

Can't wait to see and hear this thing at Firebird!
Are you kidding me? You have done more research (and shared it with us) on how to lower both sprung and unsprung weight on the 5th Gen Camaro through Blue Angel. You have a great project !

Hey, the only reason the tires/wheels/suspension fit on the back of this is the time you spent measuring it and sending me pics with your CCW's - so thank you.

You'd figure it out pretty quick.

Sounds pretty cool, but was set artificially high to do the back-to-back dyno runs quicker.

Absolutely !!! And we have C5Fest coming up so soon.
Can't wait until you get back and take Brandi out for the first time. [you gotta have someone film this] Get whatever seat time you can before the Fest. (I am sure you will have NO problem doing that. )

It's a typical Nelson vid... "DAYUM sounds good! Look at those numbers, and from a 388. That baby sounds MEAN!" etc. LOL

The intercooler letting loose from the pressure was a cool touch tho

Sounds like you have a monsteryourself!

I already made the comment that there will be NO video cameras within 20 miles of me on this first drive... I will not be an instant youtube icon... If I don't show up at the Fest, just assume something happened and don't ask too many questions...

Isn't 38 pounds of boost the equivelant of what youd find in the tires holding our cars up?

...Plus a few pounds LOL

That's why that hose letting loose would sound like a tire exploding, and I know you've heard that before back in your trucker days

Congrats!! Its a girl! Now get out of her way So you make 1450 at 28 psi, is that race gas and pump gas mixed since you have "Octane On Demand" or is that only race?

The system used on the dyno is the same that is in the car. You program the computer to control the ratio of pump gas to race gas. e.g. Do you want your Captain Morgan all coke or all Captain Morgan or somewhere in between ?
