You see all my pics of mine?

Was yours pre-failure or had it already failed?

Dude...I just ran across that last night!

After getting to the fest and talking with a few people, I was told to check out your thread. NO IDEA HOW I didn't run across it....probably due to being busy getting crap together.

Anyhow, yeah...yours literally tore right through the darn LCA. That's freaking CRAZY. Mine are bent half moon shaped. give it a month or so of spirited driving and they are going to tear through as well. I'll be in the same boat as you. Dan is sending me his old control arms with upgraded bushings. We'll see how that goes. If not, I'm going to have to upgrade to some higher quality LCA's. I'm sure there's plenty of types out there that can solve this issue.

Still, I can't believe yours tore right through...jeez...

and I only noticed the failure after adding new parts. only noticed due to the creaking and popping sounds...

I caught the second one when it was like yours. I can't remember when or where I mentioned it but you can get two control arms for 100.00 from your dealer. If Dan will send you his that's awesome. Dan is just cool like that. But you can install them yourself. You just have to go get a rear alignment when your done.

It's depressing at times to think I could've almost paid my car off by now had I not decided to play. Whatcha gonna do though??

I'm just gonna enjoy the hell out of my car while I can cause life is too short for what ifs.

^LMAO!!!!

LOVE IT!!!

Yeah...I know the feeling. I'm sitting here thinking of all the cool stuff I could buy...and here I am with another $13,000 I still owe on the car. With the additions I've done, I could probably be down to $10k right now...give or take....

But. Now...for that SUPERCHARGER.....

That's what you get for putting kick-ass suspension parts in the car without overhauling the whole darn thing!!!!! j.k.

Seriously, though...a little stronger pieces will help in the long run. For the short term, though, I'd do what Pete suggested that night...

Ain't that the truth!!! (the kick ass suspension parts, that is...)

Doing exactly what Pete said for the time being and once I get the LCA's from Dan, those puppies are going in!

On a side note, I'm still excited about those darn radius bushing inserts. I can't believe just how much more nimble the car feels now...

Remember "body roll???"

I DON'T!!!

Sometimes I wish GM's NVH tests weren't so rigorous...but then you're wouldn't be special. Sooo....nevermind.
