Fifth Major Mod - Fieldgoal 'Halo DRL Harness 2' "MY THOUGHTS"

I purchased the Halo DRL Harness 2, which is slightly different than the regular harness because it allows my Halo's to be on ALL the time (day or night). It was a little pricey but in the end worth it. I really like having my Halo's on all the time!

Shipping took a while to come up to Canada and the box looked like it got hit by a tornado. LOL Regardless all the pieces were in tact, but barely.

Installation took about 1.5 hours because I did not take the wheels off my Camaro as the instructions indicated. In the end I was able to put it all together without any major injuries to myself or the car. The harness clip in very nicely with factory lights (unlike the Oracle P13W lights from my other thread, known issue).

Fieldgoal was very helpful, and he sells a pretty solid product. Overall the experience went really well. The car looks sick, I'll take some pics and post them shortly.

The problem now is that when I pull behind another car at a red light, all I do is stare at my light refection. lmao

I'm a little confused..... I have the previous fieldgoal harness and it allows my DRLs to stay on all the time....

if I want my halos on I turn my little headlight knob to the parking lamps "day or night" and they come on.... and DRLs stay on...

so.... what does the "new" harness do that my set up doesn't do?

But I didn't reference the word "new".

My Halo's + DRL's stay ON all the time (automatically).

Then at night the Halo's + DRL's + Headlights are all on automatically.

Hope that clears up my attempt at explaining it.

how much extra is that harness than the one I have.... how much did you pay to not have to go through ALL that hassle of turning your light knob all the way over to the parking lamp setting?????

I don't think FieldGoal is a member here anymore. You'll probably want to check www.ModernCamaro.com

I don't mind turning my switch to parking lights to have just the halo's on during the day... I hate the DRL's anyways so just halo's is fine for me and I turn it off when I get out of the car. I think eventually I might order some plasma DRL from AAC though just to have those in there and get rid of that nasty OEM yellow light if I ever have the DRL's on haha.

I also have the Amber AAC P13W's on with the Halo's (day + night). Looks really slick.

I paid $120.00 for mine when fieldgoal was first selling these Wireless DRL Harness Kits w / the 4 channel remote device here on this forum !

I also programmed the remote device to my Home-Link buttons to turn on and off the DRL's ( P13W's) at any time with out using the remote control ..
