I almost went with red since my 95 Z28 vert and my 98 hardtop SS were both red, but I thought that would clash with the IO interior I just had to have. I'm so glad I went with IOM, this color just pops and makes heads turn!

Yup, have had it for over 12 years, first on Rachel (my 98 SS), then on The Beast (my turbo/stalled ESV). Now I have it on Ginger and The Beast at the same time!

Fair enough. I'm intrigued...please explain.

If you are referring to racing, and the other person lost, I can understand it would "suck to be them." Otherwise, you just look pompous.

Yup, racing inspired. Plates were a b-day gift from my then high school girlfriend, now wife, on my 98 hardtop SS (see attached pic). I was REALLY into street racing (i know very stupid, but I eventually moved to just racing at the track) and "sucks to be you" was my high school catch phrase when racing. The car was pretty quick for only being a max effort bolt on car (no cam, stock heads stock motor, no power adder).
I know what you mean about me looking pompous, but that is not the case. The wife now regrets getting me the plates, because I have them on my turbo ESV also. That one looks even more pompous, but it's quick for what it is too. It was a high 13 second 6,300 lb beast before I added the Turbonetics t76 turbo kit. Either way, I have had these plates for about 12 years and everyone knows me as SUX2BU. Never had anybody mess with my cars like people think will happen (this site really thinks the worst about people) and I now have them on two cars.

Makes sense. Sorry, I should not have jumped on you. After being around the car game for a while, I do think the worst about some people. It sucks, but most car people I meet are not people I want to hang out with. I guess I should have expected more from the good people of camaro5! Nice cars, and sorry again.

6/6/11 Installed my VMAX ported throttle body today. Biggest waste of money. I felt no difference and all the dynos I have see show no power gains. I will also never buy anything from Janetty racing I had to wait 8 weeks on something they said would take 2-4 weeks and when i tried to cancel my order half way in they wanted to charge me $71 even though they had done nothing but charge my credit card.
Cost of today's mods $171.70
Vmax ported TB $171.70

6/13/11 Swapped out my Nitto NT05R 315/40 18 drag radials for my Falken Azenis 295/40 18 street tires so I wouldn't wear the drag radials out. The Nittos have a tread wear of 00 and the Falken have a tread wear of 200. I also ordered another set of 18x11 Forgestar F14s for my drag radials.
Cost of today's mods $ 600.16
Falken Azenis RT-615 295/40 18 $575.16
swapping tires $25
