Nice lady but she didn't even know what the function of the USB port was or how it works I had to explain it to her. I made mention of what I have found out on this thread and that a 2011 PDIM was the best fix. She says "well, I don't think we can do that but I'll have my tech2 guy look at it". What info should i shove down her throat so I don't have to do over again and get this fixed the first time.
At the very worst, since they will most likely be replacing the PDIM module, but with a DA hardware version, ask them if you can pay for the DB module and have them cover the install/upgrade part (labor) under warranty.

I would still push for part 22797218. Its DB and my dealer did it under warranty.

If they will only agree to DA then, yeah, at that point offer to pay for DB.

whats funny is I talked to almost of all the GM dealers around me and they all said they don't have previous knowledge of the problem and should just bring it in.

Wow that is awesome thanks for the pdf!

I just got a call back from the dealer saying they tried the update but that didn't work so they are going to overnight a new PDIM module. She did say that it may not be a 2011 PDIM and that the 2011 PDIM would cause problems to my computer or radio or sensors in the car or something like that, thats what the tech told her. So I made mention of this thread and the information on it but still she acted like it wouldn't be a option but she said she put everything I said about the info I got off this forum in the notes. So we will see what happens tomorrow. Maybe I'll hit them with this PI0055B
