Here is some info on the rust issue you asked about.

"Racing Brake is the first company to introduce an EDP (Electronic Deposition Paint) rotor surface coating to the market. The EDP process penetrates and provides an even coating to all crevices and corners and can withstand up to 250 hours salt spray test. In comparison, zinc plating usually leaves vanes and other hidden surfaces un-plated and may last less than half the time of EDP in a salt spray test. After EDP, the rotor is sent back to production line for the last process - double crosscut grinding on the friction surfaces. This most important final step assures flatness and parallelism and provides the ideal surface for break in unlike inexpensive zinc plating, which impedes break in and may hide imperfections."
Interesting.

The reason I ask is because when I wash my car the rotors rust before I can get done and it gets all over the sheels immediately when driven. REALLY sucks. lol

Mine do the same, but as soon as I drive it, the rust is gone. I'm not really sure there is any way to avoid it completely.

I think I'll take my chances and deal with the little bit of rust.

Well what happens is that they rust and when I drive it rubs the rust off and all over the chrome wheels. No way around it.

The word from Racing Brake is that they are "in process".

What brand of brake pads do they recommend with these rotors?

I like Hawk. If you go to the Brakes section on our website we have the Hawk HPS (street us) and HP+ (track use).

Or you can use RacingBrake's pads; I'm using their ET500 pads which are a half-street, half-track pad and they work like glue. The stopping power of these pads on their rotors is just amazing.

I wonder how much rwhp do you think these would add over that stock rotors due to the weight savings?

Is there a down side to these (other than cost)? I mean do they warp more easily than the stock rotors and do they last as long?
