I guess I'm one of "those guys"....no probs with my 2010 SS. It must have been built on a Tuesday .

As my dealer says "Its a Camaro what did you expect?"

Have heard that a couple of times from mechanics there and the place they use for a body shop.

Dealer called:

1. The belt they ordered was for the V6, not the V8. After talked to technical assistance, they claim the whirring/whining sound that changes with rpm's is "normal wind-down on the compressor".

2. Rattling sound from the blower motor was clearly heard by the shop foreman on our test drive. Technician says they could not reproduce. I guarantee it will make this noise when I drive on the highway after picking up the car today.

3. They DID have to order the new PDIM hardware. It's on backorder; they'll call me to drop the car off again when the receive the part.

4. Parts for the sunroof are on backorder. Yet another return trip to get them installed.

5. Fuse was blown for the power outlets. They say it's something I plugged in to cause the fuse to blow. The outlets haven't worked since the radio failed (and was replaced).

6. No codes were in the system, so they have no explanation or correction for the cold-start hesitation issue.

7. No action taken on 2nd gear crunch.

In the final analysis, another complete waste of time with future visits required.
