Question Rear rattle

First of all, I should say that my Camaro is not completely stock. I have a slp loudmouth 1 catback exhaust and I am rarely experiencing a rattle/buzzing noise in the rear of the car. I can't tell if it is coming from something in the cab or if it is the exhaust itself. It isn't constant..but when it does happen, it is only when I am accelerating, and usually only if I am going uphill. It does appear to be on the passenger side though, at least from what I can tell. Has anyone else experienced this that has a loudmouth 1?

If your exhaust was factory I would say you have a loose baffle somewhere between the cat and the muffler. But because you have after market cat back I would think it is probably a firewall hitting your exhaust somewhere. This seems to be a common issue.

+1. See if you can pop the car onto two jack stands and take a look. I had some rattling after I installed my JBA exhaust, once I found the spot where it was rattling it only took 10 minutes.

I just got mine back from the dealership after my car started rattling in the rear. It was the inner exhaust. It took two trips and three weeks to get the exhaust replaced. I have just under 11k on my 2010.

Thanks for the replies all, I'll try to give it a look. Just a thought, is it possible that the exhaust has rattled something loose in the interior? It's quite loud, so could it be possible that it could have vibrated something loose?
