Here is the link...I got the satin black one. It was $149.99 and JC Whitney usually has free shipping coupon codes advertised on their website.

Make sure you get the cut out one, not the overlay!! You will have to drill holes to mount it...was kinda scared to do it at first, but after the first hole drilled I was like "Oh, that wasn't so bad" LoL! Also, had to take the front license plate bracket off...it left 4 big holes because they were riveted on!! (I bought my car in Texas, so I am assuming yours will be the same) Once you put the grill back on, the bracket will not fit, but you could probably easily dremel it to make it fit if you want to put it back on.

Thanks sub zero! I try to do nice touches without going overboard. I do believe there is such thing as too much of a good thing!

Thanks guys!! I was really torn between getting the Havocs or waiting to save up for forged rims. I am so glad I went with these!! They really change the look of the car and I love the way they look with the Red Jewel paint! Best of all, now I will have more money to spend on other mods!!

Hi SSMOKINHOT,

Thanks for sharing your progress. I hope to do the same once I get the time from traveling to China each month. The car is looking great! I like the SS you put on the back, where did you purchase?

Keep enjoying the upgrades and the ride - that is what these cars are all about.

Thanks,
Ed

Thanks Edscapade...I got the SS Emblem from Sparks Restorations http://www.sparksrestorations.com/ and then had it modified by AAC Style lighting to add colorshift lighting to it. I don't have any video of it lit up right now...that will all have to wait until I get back...I'm currently in Afghanistan. I only have 24.55 Weeks 172 Days 4,124 Hours 247,439 Minutes 14,846,350 Seconds and 516 Meals to go but who is counting??

Thanks for the information and also for serving our country! I for one appreciate it, for if not all of you keeping us safe... We would not be able to enjoy our freedoms and that is a very big deal! Made me laugh on your count down - I only have to do a month at a time for business in China, but am ready to leave as soon as I touchdown. Stay safe and know that you are appreciated.

All my best,
Ed

Ha ha ha....yea, I have this little "Freedom" calculator in Microsoft Excel that has all the formulas...it also tells me how much of my "sentence" I have served!!!

Of course, that being said, I really try to live by the motto "Don't count the days, make the days count"

Exclamation RE: Build/Mods...

Love the thread...I stumbled on to it today when I was running through the thread with wheel pictures. Those rims are sweet as you can tell I posted my opinion recently on that thread. Anyhow, just glad to see a fellow gearhead out there and was impressed to see what you have done so far to your camaro. Come home safe and thanks for serving! God Bless!

You're ride is looking great too!! Is that the MPD1 Spoiler? That is on my long list of things I want!! LoL! I like your heritage grille in RJT too...I went back and forth on whether to get mine black or RJT...both look so good!! I decided on black to go with the black chrome.

PROUD TO SERVE!

Thumbs up Update...

I just realized why I like the wheels so much...they remind me of the aluminum rims that were on my 81' Z28 sorta a little honeycomb style to them but more modern with a twist. And not to be confused with the trans-am wheels of that era. Anyhow, I found a place on the internet that sells the set of 4 for $750. Is that about what you paid for them? I hope they still have them when I am ready to put them on a new camaro!

Set of 4 for $750 is a GREAT deal!! I paid around $1300 for mine and believe me, I shopped around for the best deal! Just make sure they are a reputable vendor!
