Skupe,

Welcome to the club I went thru the same thing with IBM back at the end of April ended up having to locate mine in Maryland 6 hours away.

My previous Camaro was a 2000 summit white with a black top you will love the summit white easy to clean and it does not show the dirt!! UNLIKE the IBM!

Welcome and CONGRATS on your new Camaro Convertible.

Honestly, you didn't "settle" for a lesser color. Summit White is so darn conspicuous it's almost stealthy. It just plain ROCKS.

I concur with your take on the RPMs. Once you're up to the 3-4k mark, it GOES. Equally so on the tonneau. Had my V6 up to 90 (oops - is that legal? It should be ;-) this past Sunday and the tonneau was rock solid. Unless you're going to park your 'vert in a garage or carport, you may have to keep an eye on that beige top and implement some "elbow grease" to keep it looking "smart" as they'll begin to start looking "soiled" after a couple of years.

Frankly, all 5th gen. 'verts are WICKED and you're gonna love yours! Now drive it like you stole it!
