If it's like the ones I ordered for mine (OEM), it came with instructions.

No real tricks, there are a couple of tabs inside the Cig Lighter that need to be released before it will come out. Other than that, it's easy.

how does it wire up? I pluged the cluster into my car from my friends and it dont work. My factory conector is missing 3 pins where the cluster plugs in. his conector has all the pins.

Yes, his connector has all the pins and his gauge pack won't work on your car without the proper harness.

You can either make one, like this person had to do: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84018 or you can buy one: http://www.southerncarparts.com/cama...ss-p-3743.html

The accessory gauge pack from GM has the appropriate harness for cars that didn't come from factory with the gauges.

did your kit come with zip ties to hold the gauges in place to the plastic cover?

Mine did but ordered the hardware to do it right, there is a thread on here with the breakdown and the parts info so you don't have to use the zip ties
