Dear C5 brothers,
I come to you all with yet another problem I face. I have just installed a Hurst short throw shifter in my Camaro and there seems to be this rattling in the shifter. I have even installed the supplied dampers (dynamat), yet somehow there seems to be this rattling sound and what's funny is that it exists only in gear 2. The unusual thing is that the rattling sound seems to be coming from the shifter ball/knob, because when I hold the gear real tight while in gear two, the rattling seems to be lesser or in some cases not at all there. Has anyone else faced this issue with the Hurst shifter and if so, how do you propose I solve this issue? Come on guys, I need some brilliant brains spilling their genius on to the table here please!! Looking forward to your helpful!!
