I love what you did with the side scoops.

it's funny how someone can post a mustang pic on a camaro forum and we are all like thats neat but we still like camaros more. But if you posted a camaro pic on a mustang site they would hack your forum profile, find your house, and show up on your doorstep to scald you with burning oil.

There are some very nice Mustangs out there. However, in my opinion, they are canceled out by all of the boring, plain, and purely ugly versions. No version of a muscle car should ever look like a Camry.

That's because we have some kick ass members here! Plus, the majority of us can tell when someone is trying to be nosey and just wants to pick fights.

What makes you think either myself or Vontivonti are trying to pick a fight?

Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick, but all we've done is show a couple of potential new Camaro challengers. We're not baiting anyone.

I think he was using the two of you as an example of people who aren't trying to pick a fight as others might. He meant it as a compliment both to you and to those that have responded.

Coo-el, wrong end of the stick for me then!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love ALL musclecars, whether they be Fords, Chevy's or Dodges!

I noticed the rear, but didn't deem it that big a deal.

I actually like the current Mustang better than that photoshopped one.

They're both pretty dull compared to the Camaro though.

OH NO, NO, NO!!! I didn't mean it like that! I wasn't using you guys in any bad way at all, my friends. You all are cool. There's others who try to pick fights and what not. We can tell the difference between that and a friendly post like this where we can have just regular old good conversation!

I wasn't trying to come off in a bad way at all. Sorry bout that. All compliment...

You know thats not true...
Over at Mustang Forums there are Moderators that don't own Mustangs,
One owns a Camaro and another own a 2005 GTO. Sidewayz6.0 Senior Site Moderator
There are several Members that own both Mustangs and Camaros.

And there are Long time Members Like
SSteele, TommyV8, 98LS1, Pewterwssicc, SeVeReDiStOrTiOn
, MrRogers, C6 VETTE, 2004M6GTO, slims00ls1z28, stanger88, S8ER01Z, The Stig, nickdotcom2.0, Redneck97, SpecterGT260, tspence45 To name a few just in one thread

Check out the drag racing section I never see the activity you say goes on.

Then there people like me who want to own all three of the new edge muscle
I own a 05 Mustang GT, I am Buying a 2010 Camaro and I am trying to justify the Challenger.

I love them all

Those are pretty skinny hips on that 'Stang. My Camaro will have some hips that'll give you a... well, someone had a good word on here recently and I don't remember who, but a Camarogasm... Yeah, that's a fitting word.

I'm with you, there, matey! If I just had:

A) A 3 car garage
B) The money!

Then all three would be mine. What a line up that would be

For all who are wondering why i put a Mustang redesign on a Camaro Page: no, it's not to get people angry. I love Muustangs (especialy my 69 Ford Mustang 428 Cobrajet), and I love the new Camaro.

I think both cars are very bold and masculin. The NEW Camaro is in my opinion stronger in expression than the current Mustang and the OLD Mustang is stronger than the old Camaro.

So that leaves one question: What is it, that made the 69 Mustang looking so cool? How would that look on the 05 Model today? Can a redesign make the Mustang even stronger than the new Camaro?

Ford is asking themself the same questions... and i am wondering, what answers the will have 2010. One thing is clear: those 2 Cars compete in the same marketsegment... like 30 Years ago.

vontivonti - You're thinking along very similar lines to me. The '69 Mustang (such as you're gorgeous beast of a car) is my favourite looking Mustang and I think the new Camaro picks up on a lot of it's styling themes (although the reality is the '69 Camaro and '69 Mustang had similar styling) particularly around the rear 3/4.

For me, the current '05 Mustang takes a '65 Mustang style and brings it up to date. I'd love to see what the same approach to a '69 would look like.

See here for a thread I started on another forum.

Make that 4 on the same wavelength. Yes, there was just something about the '69 Mach 1 428CJ. I happen to like that one myself, vonti.

Personally, I love all muscle cars regardless of brand. In the background and in my sig below, you can see my Chevelle SS454. For what it's worth, I've had these cars for quite some time. I can only imagine how broke I'd be if I had purchased them in recent years when the prices were just ... well ... insanely high.

Now I'm just patiently waiting for the new Camaro. Daddy needs a new daily driver.
