3" Stainless Works Retro Chambered Installed

Sorry for no video, I don't really have a video camera worth a bowl of rice....but I installed my exhaust this afternoon and I FRIGGIN LOVE IT! The sound is amazing, no drone.....exactly what I was looking for!

Thanks needs to go out to Chase with Apex, customer service was top notch and he answered a bizillion questions from me (I am sure I filled up him inbox) without every losing his enthusiasm.....

I would STRONGLY suggest this exhaust to anyone, and I'd but from Chase/Apex in an instant. ......

come to think of it, I think all of the vendors on this site deserve a thumbs up...

My understanding is that the tone is deeper (lower) with the 3". I think it also helps reduce drone.

Not on a stock engine. Add some serious mods and you'll benefit some. The tone is generally deeper and less raspy.

Thank you for your business and the feedback. We sincerely appreciate both. I am glad to hear you are happy with the Retro Chambered cat back, I love that system too.

Once you start pushing a lot of air through the engine it can help but for the average Camaro it is mostly about sound.

I have a 2012 SS due mid Dec. and I am thinking about CAI inc, Stainless Works headers with high flow cats and SW Retro catback exhaust. I don't want to tune due to waranty until later. Will it work without throwing check engine codes?

Headers without a tune will result in a CEL. Either immediately or eventually.

i have a L99 with a corsa and kooks 1 7/8. Do you guys think the sw retro would be louder with the kooks headers then the corsa?

I'm gonna say yes. The SW is pretty loud with headers, especially at WOT.

The system replaces everything after the cats, including the resonators and H-pipe.
