Just finished reading the previous day's feedback. Thanks, its all definitely interesting.

Don't really have an update at this time, been working on my last school project this weekend so couldn't test drive any cars. I'm also a bit starry eyed at all the money I'd save if I didn't have to make car payments.

However, relevant story: I'm driving home tonight and was drifting hard to the right. Pull over, obviously a flat.

I jack the car up and remove the flat tire, and realize I'm 2 inches too low yet for the spare. Continue to jack it higher and the jack blows through the rocker panel. It was rusted to shit. The car didn't fall, but I immediately put the flat underneath the frame incase of further damage and the car did fall.

Luckily I had a second jack in my trunk and just lifted the control arm the remaining 2 inches to get the spare on (the first jack was still supporting the car I just couldn't lift it any further).

I drove away, peering out of my heavily cracked windshield, thinking I should have just left the POS on the side of the road. Its definitely time for a new car.

Bottom line is that both cars are great cars. If you can save a ton of money and get a premium model, its a no brainer. You can probably take some of the money you saved and get some stripes and stuff put on.

Do what you know is right. Your talking about another year's worth of payments if you get camaro without incentives.

If I were you, i'd get the mustang, even tho i love camaro too, i love american muscle more.

72 months is wayyy too long. Anyone paying more than 5 years for a new car probably shouldnt be buying it.

We americans have to be smarter with our money. I remember when I was a kid you couldnt get a 6 year car loan. 5 was the max. Now they have 8 and 9 year loans and we wonder why people default and banks get into trouble.

Buy something you can afford to pay off in 4 or 5 years while the car is still worth something. Thats my rule.

Go with whichever car you like the most. Test drive them both and decide.
