Since no one else is doing, I'm going to call your bluff, Mr. Smartypants! I want to know exactly how many Camaros you think have been built.

By the way, what the hell does it matter. Some truck driver exaggerating to a salesman to make himself feel good that day.

Oh...one more thing, my VIN is 5665.

Think about it for a second - 99% of all dealers will give us our cars VIN numbers as soon as they have been assigned (3300). So how come nobody here has posted about having a VIN number greater than 6,000? Mmmm....

Gents, my car was built last week and my VIN is 4835.

I doubt they built more than 4,000 cars since last week.

Sorry, but this info is BS.

Actually, no I don't. Go back and read the OP post....9000 cars waiting to be shipped.....now I'm sure the driver did not go out and count each and everyone of them but it's not too hard to believe that he might actually be telling an "exaggerated" truth.

Say that my VIN is the latest one added to the lot (which I'm sure it's not), then add all of the dealer camaros, and toss in a few CTF vehicles still sitting around....probably not 9000 cars, but surely it's 5000+.

I mean if you were just an "average joe" and you looked out across this vast lot of camaros, wouldn't you be just a bit amazed? Yes, it's probably an exaggeration by the driver, but does it really matter?

It doesn't matter to me, but why would anyone believe that there are 9K cars just hangin out? And the main point I highlighted was:

5000+ doesn't = 6000 ... show us a VIN = 6000+

Plus ... do you know that Hylton lives really close to there and he also has family and friends that work there? Do you really want to go there? I think he might know a couple peeps that might tell him truth that doesn't hold up to your speculation.

OK....didn't have time to read thru all of the pages.

Auto News is correct - BUT -- that includes all of the CTF vehicles - (several hundred) plus the non-saleable cars --

There IS NOT NINE THOUSAND CAMAROS sitting in one spot!!!!!

There are some moved to Pontiac, Michigan for retro-fits so that we can continue building at Oshawa -- we are shipping as fast as we can because we want them in the hands of our customers. (..and we need the money!)

9k+ out the factory door...I'm guessing you've run out of names for your kiddos. No worries...I'll pick a name for one of them for you...I'll even 'take care of it' like it was my own...

(I was beginning to think you were in the back of a black suburban somewhere)

And re: one of your others posts...it would be great to see the G8 move over to the Chevy line. And if you make a V version of the CTS wagon...I'M IN! (well...my wife's in!).

only nooblets didn't listen to Hylton, CC and others. If the "Senior Members" were piling on, their bad. So, only minor "panic-du-jour!" from them. Glad to see you are still posting here.

Ya I know, but VIN 3622 was delivery down south somewhere on the weekend and I'm 3625...just frustrating knowing it is that close and not being provided with any real explanation for the delay in shipping.
