*Sale* Driveshaft Shop 9" IRS, Axles, Driveshafts..

Driveshaft Shop has been providing some of the strongest drivetrain parts for numerous years now for all types of vehicles! Frank & the crew have brought their expertise into the Gen V world. We are a direct dealer for DSS and are offering sales on all items from DSS!

Send me an email or PM for pricing information. OR just call in to the shop 609 752 0321 for ordering!

On our 5th track pass on our stock bottom end Gen V car, we broke the rearend into pieces... Unfortunately this is a common problem with the Gen V's. Frank sent on over the entire STREET 9" IRS conversion for our street driven SS. Using his conversion setup we are able to launch consistently and stay off of the tow truck !

Richmond 3.73 gears inside a stock carrier. The ring & pinion broke and then ended up mangling the inside of the case. It broke on the 1-2 shift, not even on a launch. So that was 6 hours of labor & $550 thrown away on 5 track passes. I decided instead of doing rear's every few months just spend the dollars once and forget about it.

Yes I do make some HP and it does have a TH350 trans in it, but it hits softer than a stiff clutch on the shifts.

We have also seen numerous aftermarket ring & pinions blow up and a few stock gears on the street. There is no good solution besides the IRS conversions (DSS, Hendrix, GForce, LPE, etc.) to keep these things together.

Yeah I'm going to a race in a few weeks and doing a posi mod and billet caps to hopefully hold it together for the race. Don't have time to add a 9 inch too. Doing a th400 swap with brake. So I'm looking to do a 9 inch as soon as we get back. Car will be way in the 10's holding it back and Im not sure if I'm going to use the brake till I get a 9 inch

JLE: Gotcha.. Hopefully with the posi mod & billet caps it will stay together for you. I broke the actual R&P in my unit, but have seen broken posis & caps before. We actually fabricated our own set of caps for a few guys that came through here before the billet caps were commercially sold.

We swapped in the DSS 9" unit in less than a day.. So you may still have time !

Yeah my understanding are the stock caps are so weak they flex and puts movement on the gears. Yeah I'm sure we could do the swap in half a day it isn't the 9 inch that I think will hold me up it's the other stuff. Plus I wasn't to get the car on the track for some t and t the week before to find any bugs.

Congrats Matt on the setup and everything going good for. Yes Frank and everyone at DSS is amazing along with thier products. We use The DSS products in our car and it holds up amazing week in and week out.

Just an FYI for all the naysayers on the CF driveshafts. At 1300 hp alcohol inejected ass kicking machine Have never had any failure and issues with this driveshaft.

Sorry matt not trying to thread jack. Just trying to help spread the word of having amazing products and customer service that Frank and the guys over at DSS provide

bhall: Definitely not hijacking. I am glad you had a positive experience with Frank @ DSS and his crew. We definitely have.

We literally put together a C6Z06powerglide/9" IRS setup in a few weeks because Frank helped tremendously. Bob Kasper down here worked with Frank and they got together a badass setup. Frank was working with two project cars at once on a few days notice and set everything up perfect.

Custom driveshaft for our SS with the TH350 along with the 9", along with the 9" housing + stubs + custom axles for the C6Z all within 2 days !!!
