Here's what I'd do:

-cut out the rear vents and make them functional
Quote:

Can you do that?
Sure, if you really wanted to. Cut the plastic out and then feed a duct from the openings back to the brakes.

Man, I appreciate the pics, I really do, but if I were in an area where I could get a still shot of the Camaro without anyone seeing, or too far away to catch me, (like the one with the camo) I'd get the flash ready on my camera, stick it underneath the beast, start snapping away until someone noticed me and run away. That would be a wonderful day for all of us once they were posted. Okay, I'll wake up now. Speaking of, are there any smilies that are sleeping, and get pinched awake?

Great pics. Someone in GM needs to take pictures of the pre production model from all angels... and under the hood..... Just a matter of time before something like that pops up..

Forget the pi$$ing and moaning about the dual headlamps!!!!! Fo'get the bitchin' about the gas cap!!! WHERE DO I SIGN???????? This definitely has to be a V8 model. If this thing looks as good in person as the pictures, I'll have to bring a change of underwear when I see it. For those who don't want to partake get out of line so I can move up one space. Black with silver stripes, Z/28, oh boy! :bangdesk:

what i want to see, is a picture of the back with those taillights lit up, to see if they kept those "afterburner" style taillights. im absolutly happy with everything else, but if the afterburners are gone, then ill hate this car, FOREVER!!!! just joking, im just curious as to if they stayed or not, no one else mentioned it, so i thought id spark another conversation.

the reverse mohawk that everyone keeps talking about is those 2 charater lines in the roof of the car. check out a picture of the concept and youll know. TAG or Dragon might be able to explain better. TAG... Dragon... could you help me out a little, if you dont mind.

Camaro Fever, iIts the roof part that looks like this:

.. ___________ . . . . . ____________
. / . . . . . . . . .------- . . . . . . . . . . \
/ . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .\

It looks kinda like a mohawk but goes down instead of up, therefore: reverse mohawk.

you can kinda see some salt/snow residue ending at the filler door itself - as though it had been recently opened.
You need glasses…

uhhh... no offence Dragon, but i cant see it either. maybe i need glasses. i looked closeer, and what i see is a reflection of some trees in just out of frame, maybe on the other side of the road, plus some dust on the back side of the fender flare, but i might be seeing things.

None taken, though I appreciate the thought.

I can't 'enhance' it anymore than I did....but I still see it........

I'm still a little confused. Why has GM been so hush-hush with engine options? They keep teasing us with pics. But have yet to see one in action. When the mustang was being desinged and tested I kept seeing pics of it going through the paces. I love the new pics and am greatful for everyone we get but come on General, help a brotha out. We are showing up late to the party in the fisrt place, we are behind the Mustang and Challenger. Please step up the pace. GM just reported a 35 BILLION dollar loss for 2007, and is losing its grip on the 14% world market share to Toyota. Come on General let's get this thing on the road allready. There are people foaming at the mouth for this wonderfull piece of automotive sculpture. Please don't make me buy a Rousch. I can't bear the thought of it. We need our Camaro and we need it now. I can't stand it any more. I'm just going off on a rant. I'll wait and be quite and keep banging my head against the wall while screaming "I wan't it now, I wan't it now."

It was a tax-thing...only a technicality. And nothing to worry about. Basically, they just paid off a massive bill from the gov't. So now they're even, with one less monkey on their backs.

This thread should help to give you a better sense of where GM is at now.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2834
And on that note: Let's continue this conversation in the linked thread, yes?
