I don't know where you got that info from. Another member told me that G5 was suppose to be having some open house earlier today in New Jersey so people could come and see what they've done first hand. Our meet is up in Mount Kisco. Complete opposite direction. I don't know if this is true or not about this open house because I haven't been following anything regarding G5 and I've seen nothing in our forum about them.
Now this is epic, lol. G5 claiming to be at some gathering when heck neither group was expecting them to be there, lol. So I wonder why would G5 would tell its customers it would be somewhere when the club(s) that its suppose to be going to meet with don't even know anything about the reveal. This is getting rather confusing.

My mistake! Sorry guys. I hadn't heard anything about it, but I had just asked. Yes, someone was suppose to come by with the grill. I didn't see it though. I'll try to find out what happened and let you know.

G5 is a joke and this grill is a joke the 6th gen will be out and these fools will still be passing on the BS to the pre-paid customers hell the G5 crew are probably sitting on Wikiki beach sipping some cold beers laughing at everyone who was conned into pre-paying for these fake still under pre-pre construction grilles for those still in this GP I shake my head use some common sense.

Ok. So they just didn't make it to the meet. Don't know why. No other information than that.

I dont understand how you can spend $1200 freely on a GB w/o even seeing the product nor even having a FINISHED product to buy. No wonder this country is going to crap and is broke. Idiots spend $1200 on a grille before even seeing it. Truly amazing...

This version actually looks better than that other ( newer ?) video. Nothing I've seen so far looks as good as the renders though, unfortunately. But not surprising.

I agree, which is likely why we aren't seeing better pictures or video. I imagine the refund requests will increase when they show how unlike the renders the final product ends up being.

I went through this with a product myself....they promised and promised the finished product would be out soon and it took me like almost a year to get what i payed for and even then it was recalled for design issues! So when i saw THIS ish i knew this was gonna be the same crap! I hope all the poor guys that pulled the trigger on this early get their money back!

I admit it’s hard not to get emotional with a company that constantly announces dates and misses them causing people to run out of virtual popcorn. Even when you don’t have a stake in it. It no longer is just grille for a car. Kinda get a sense of “injustice” so you want to voice it on a free forum

I say this because threads like these are required so there’s history of what people experienced. Buyers like me search the threads all the time for mods for my car. If I saw a thread with missed dates, I’d make a decision. If this thread is gone, I wouldn't know about it. But if I see long paragraphs filled with nothing but folks upset, id ignore the thread.

In summary, justice will be done on its own. Over-emotional threads remove the history.

BTW: G5 REALLY got to stop not delivering like that.

Life experience has taught me to stay FAR away from companies that play games like this. These guys are not stupid. If you sit down and write down ALL the details of what has happened, in order of when it happened, from saying the completed grill was going to be revealed at SEMA on NOVEMBER 1ST, all the way to today when there still is not a completed grill, a very clear story shows itself.

What gets me is that there are all these people still praising their innovation when they have yet to meet any deadlines or show a working complete product. I'm sure this is not a scam, but why people are still wanting to buy it completely blows my mind.
