im trying to use a frieght company to ship a hood out but getting prices of over 250 dollars. anyone in central florida know how to ship it for less?

Find someone you know who has a corporate acct with a carrier line. Will cost half that or less.

try greyhound. I shipped a bumper cover once this way and was dirt cheap compared to others, or you can try uship (you watch Shipping Wars?). I bought a small camper and had it shipped VIA uship and it worked out great.

USPS - Parcel Post . In my experience it's almost always cheaper than UPS or FedEx

I asked UPS of what is cost to ship a hood, won't say what kind. But it runs about $254-$300.00

I use Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc I paid if I recall $45 to ship my old V6 bumper out to a forum member up north I paid $75 for a pallet of our car show stands to ship to a dealership in LA we packed 12 14x14x48 boxes on it.
