V6 calipers question

I got a set of calipers powdercoated, but I need to remove the excess from the mounting holes where the bolts go. Anyone have one around that could measure the size of that hole so I don't remove too much material with a drill bit?

The bolts thread into the caliper. Best bet would be to use the correct size tap to clean the threads out. Don't put a drill bit in there.

I don't think so on the v6 calipers? ... The caliper brackets bolt to the spindle. Those threads are clean.

The holes do not seem to have had threads... they just have a few coats of PC, so the bolts don't go in all the way... the threads pass through, but the unthreaded part doesnt.
