So Black and Decker owns Porter Cable, they are right here in Towson Md. I just had a buddy go to work for them a few months ago, maybe I should contact him? Let me see what he can do.

Thanks! That car was beat. For the seats I used Megs Leather Cleaner and Conditioner. My go to product now for leather is Leather Masters though.

Where can I get a backing plate? I thought it came with it but it doesn't. What size/brand/type do I need? Any stores sell it or do I have to buy online?

They make a bunch of different back plates for that machine, depending on what you're doing. If you're going to be using pads from Adam's, buy this one.

I got sucked into going to the Adams site again... got me good this time too. At least I have a Porter Cable on the way... I've been wanting one of these since I saw the Junkman at the first Fest, I just wasn't willing to cough up that much cash until now.

I am using chemical guys products. Do any stores carry the backing plates? I wanted to do my car today or tomorrow.

Probably not. I have never seen the back plates sold in stores because there are many to choose from.
